Super Crush K.O is a cute, fast paced beat-em up with light platforming and a beautiful art style… and was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. The story is super simple - a hot alien has kidnapped your cat and you must rescue him! Though lesbians are always a great addition to any game, it was the fast-paced action gameplay that made it super fun for me to play through. If it wasn’t for the scoring system, I might’ve finished this game a lot earlier. It was fun trying to go for no-hit runs, and the attack combos were quick and fun to execute. S rank is not difficult to achieve, but S+ is where more of the challenge lies. I feel that there’s definitely some replay value if you are into improving your scores, but if not, it’s still a fun game to play through casually. The achievements are skill related, but not difficult to achieve 100% (as it doesn’t require you to S+ everything). The Air Pop function was kind of unintuitive, imo (I had to actually google what they were used for), and some of the platforms were difficult to tell if I could shoot through them or not, but these were just very minor things. Please try this game out if you’re into face-paced side scrolling fun :)
