Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sunlight Scream takes the familiar structure of a university-life visual novel and steadily twists it into a darker tale of murder, suspicion, romance, and survival. Developed and published by Faithy Games, it follows Max as he returns to Sunlight City, a place connected to his childhood, and begins what should have been an ordinary new chapter of his life. University, friendships, social encounters, and romantic possibilities initially dominate his attention, but that sense of normality quickly begins to disappear when students are murdered and a mysterious masked killer becomes the central threat. The contrast between everyday student life and psychological horror is one of the game's more appealing qualities. Sunlight City is not presented as an obviously terrifying place from the beginning. Instead, the game allows players to become familiar with its characters and their relationships before increasing the danger surrounding them. This approach gives the deaths and threatening situations more emotional weight because the people at risk are not simply disposable victims. They are characters Max can spend time with, become attached to, distrust, or potentially romance. Gameplay is primarily based around reading conversations and making decisions rather than traditional exploration or combat. Choices can influence relationships and determine how different situations unfold, making player participation an important part of the narrative. Some decisions can contribute to very different consequences, including who survives and what ending is ultimately reached. The uncertainty surrounding those consequences fits the murder-mystery premise especially well because the player is constantly encouraged to consider whether trusting someone or pursuing a particular course of action is actually safe. Romance and character relationships add another layer to the experience. Rather than existing purely as side content, these connections help strengthen the tension because becoming emotionally invested in someone makes the possibility of losing that character more significant. The game effectively mixes personal drama with the larger investigation, allowing moments of affection, friendship, and ordinary conversation to exist alongside increasingly dangerous circumstances. Players who enjoy visual novels with both romance and suspense should find this combination particularly attractive. Replayability is another notable strength. Multiple endings and branching decisions mean that completing one route does not necessarily reveal everything about the story. Returning to previous choices can lead to different scenes, altered relationships, new information, and potentially different outcomes for the characters. This makes experimentation worthwhile, especially for completionists interested in unlocking the available achievements and discovering how much influence individual decisions have over the larger narrative. The presentation uses colorful hand-drawn artwork that provides an interesting contrast with the disturbing events of the story. Numerous backgrounds, character illustrations, and other visual elements help keep the largely text-driven experience from feeling visually static. The brighter aesthetic works particularly well during the university and relationship scenes, while darker circumstances gradually undermine that comfortable atmosphere. Music and environmental sound effects further support the changing mood, helping ordinary conversations, mysterious discoveries, and threatening moments feel distinct from one another. Sunlight Scream remains firmly a visual novel, however, and this determines who will get the most enjoyment from it. Players expecting extensive exploration, combat, puzzles, or mechanically complicated horror gameplay may find the experience too passive. Much of the player's time is spent reading, observing character interactions, and choosing responses. The strength of the experience therefore depends heavily on becoming interested in the characters and wanting to discover the identity of the murderer. For fans of narrative-focused games, that is unlikely to be a major drawback, but action-oriented horror players should adjust their expectations. Its relatively modest technical requirements also make it accessible to players using less powerful computers. Steam Deck compatibility is currently best considered Unknown or Unverified rather than officially Verified or Playable. The visual-novel format and relatively lightweight technical demands suggest that it may be possible to run it through SteamOS and Proton, but the absence of an official Steam Deck compatibility rating means players should not assume completely trouble-free handheld operation. Partial controller support may also mean that some interaction is more comfortable through the Deck's trackpads or touchscreen. Overall, Sunlight Scream is an intriguing combination of visual novel romance and psychological murder mystery. Its strongest feature is the way ordinary university relationships gradually become intertwined with questions of trust and survival. Branching decisions, multiple endings, character relationships, atmospheric artwork, and the threat of a masked murderer give the story enough variety to encourage more than one playthrough. It is best suited to players who enjoy reading-heavy adventures and appreciate seeing their choices influence both personal relationships and potentially deadly outcomes. Rating: 7/10

bought it on sale, super entertaining game with graphics that you can't stop looking at and some interesting, strong personalities
What did I just read Moment.
