For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
A unique RPG blending turns both in investigation and combat set in a dystopian London. The art, story and VA are good, although if you are looking for in depth combat you'll have to keep looking, it's quite simple and unbalanced. The only bug I found was with savefiles after first chapter, for some reason, naming screws up and it's hard to follow if you make multiple, saves themselves are fine. Game is quite short, around 10-15h depending on speed Definitely worth a try in a sale, it was worth my time.

Really good game! Had a lot of fun BECAUSE (!) IT WASN'T TOO EASY. The Riddles are alright and the Minigames pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. There is also a skill which makes them easier and let's you save action points, which I would have prefered being separated. The Minigames are real fun, but when they get too easy, it's just a bore, having more action points, is good though. Apart from that it's a real nice mix of round-based combat, point'n'click riddles (not too hard, but not too easy either) and keeping the little time (action points) you have in check. Story is okay, a bit gory, but okay. Bossfights are quite tough. I didn't get one without reloading an preparing for it. Overall a really nice game, which got me nicely through the heat :)!

I really love Sunday Gold, but I had a few problems with it. The hacking and lockpicking minigames can get annoying, especially hacking, although the settings let you make them easier. My biggest issue is the AP system: the same points are used for both combat and exploration, so after a fight you can end up with almost no AP left to interact with anything. To recover AP you have to end your turn, but depending on how suspicious the enemies (level) are, doing that can spawn another encounter and immediately throw you back into combat, wasting the AP you just recovered. It creates an annoying loop where exploration and combat constantly interfere with each other. The puzzles themselves are usually easy, but there are so many of them that they eventually start feeling tedious. I still really enjoyed the game overall, but these systems made parts of it more frustrating than they needed to be.
i'm genuinely surprised by the bad reviews, but i have not finished the game (only just really getting to the meat of it, at ~5.5 hrs, I think). i've rated 4.5 on backloggd. my review of sunday gold: + the animation, art, ui screens, and general aesthetic REALLY shines here. i genuinely lit up viewing the opening. + the point and click mechanics, along w/ the fact stamina is shared between exploration & battles is SO fun. + the voice acting!! amazing!! + a unique approach to the genre, making this game feel super fresh + plenty of secrets/easter eggs to discover: some quests are optional / you can find secret rewards / some mysteries can be solved multiple ways / fun lore to find + lovable (and dislikeable!) characters, engaging locations, and world-building I've never really seen before ~ it took me a few battles (and full team) to see the tactical appeal, which as a long-time tactical rpg enjoyer, is not bad. it's different, enjoyable, but at times tedious (esp waiting for some animations (like taunt) to complete every. single. time. maybe Ive missed an option to turn off battle animations?) (-) steamdeck controls suck. it's the only reason I haven't played more (yet) (-) the stress mechanic felt poorly implemented -- sometimes it'd trigger stress quick-time-events before the meter even reached a notch? (-) relatedly, the stress countdown is really annoying, esp after I turned on the quick-time accessibility in the settings. 5 seconds to choose a battle option on steamdeck feels awful overall, sunday gold is breath of fresh air. it carved out its own aesthetic & gameplay mechanics in the point & click/tactical rpg genre(s) that is both cohesive and quirky. I'll be keeping my eye on this team's future projects!
