Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best RU #79, worst CN #98 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.57/day in the week to Sep 1 → 10.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

please just play the og game this is mid af the og might make u never play a different game its so fire.
Could use the slightest bit more polishing for danger and progress to feel as meaningful as the first game, but otherwise its a decent 20 hour game.

Subnautica Below Zero is a good game, with a terrible story. The protagonist you play as (Robin) has the survival instincts of a walnut. And you know what? that I can pretend to get over. But my god she is annoying and unlikable. In these games you want to root for the main character/s and you do, just not for Robin but for Al-AN, you just can't wait for the poor thing to finally be free from this insufferable woman and find its way home. Tiny example: Al-AN says since humans can't just change out their bodies like it's a car workshop and they aren't heat, cold, water, fall resistant with tough skins then they have inferior bodies to his species, and anyone with half a braincell would agree that yes this is 100% true humans are squishy. But not Robin. Robin has the audacity to throw a fit and get offended at that fact. And you'll have many other opportunities to experience Robin's wonderful personality/writing. In summery: the game on itself is good, new biomes, new cool creatures, new threats, new environmental challenges, new cute creatures, new vehicles as well some new terrible controls. If you just ignore or switch off the story and just enjoy the world and exploring it you'll have a good time but if you're here for the writing and lore? It is bad. And I would recommend getting it when it discounted, it is true it is on a smaller scale that the first one. p.s.: deciding you needed to add new material outcrops and changing their outcomes from the first game and designing one for lead that is almost impossible to see.. congratulations, you have made the dumbest and most pointless upgrade. If you spent that time in other aspects maybe the main plot would have been half decent at least. anyway Robin annoyed me enough that I I couldn't wait to finish the game and I just had to rant about it so others can prepare themselves so yeah.
If you're addicted to subnautica like me go ahead, but for me this game is clearly behind the first one
