Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best RU #79, worst CN #98 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.57/day in the week to Sep 1 → 10.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I tried playing this game from scratch 5 times, just to get all the achievements, but every time it felt SO boring! They made this one so confusing and without a minimum direction, from a certain point of the game on, it's frustrating.

Всё замечательно, не менее интересная чем первая часть!
It's very good game, despite what people often say. If this was first Subnautica, then it would be praised for what it is. It's not necessarily better first one, just different. Snowfox is very bad to drive.
I played this right after I finished Subnautica. Most things as far as gameplay, building your seabase, using the fabricator, and the UI feel very familiar, but the environment is very different and there's a new mechanic of temperature which you have to manage when out of the water. In practice, this just feels like managing your oxygen when under the water. This game is smaller than Subnautica, which means there's less to explore, and also means you're given less space to navigate around leviathans. This makes certain areas frustrating to navigate through, particularly in the late game. The new seatruck is a welcome addition though, and I hope to see it in future games. It's nice to be able to bring a whole base with you, set up camp, and then navigate tighter or more dangerous areas with just a few modules of your mobile base, versus the cyclops where the whole thing has to come with you. The other thing that I feel is a downgrade from the previous game is the story, or more specifically, the way the game leads you toward story events and locations. In the previous game you would get radio messages every so often that would give you a direction to go, but in this game you either find the story beats or you don't. And since part of the story is optional and easy to miss, this likely means many people finish the game while missing major elements of the story. Overall, if you liked Subnautica, you will like this game. Which one you like more probably depends on personal preferences, but for me, the original is the better of the two. Still a good game though!

I like Subnautica Below Zero. Is it as good as the original? I don't think anybody would say that, but if you played the original and said "I want more Subnautica", then buying this is a no-brainer. I honestly don't understand the hate comments who say it sucks or is an objectively bad game. It offers the same gameplay, same base building, but in a new Arctic-like setting, in a smaller map. My primary complaints are with the story, which is honestly not really there and barely touched upon. I also dislike the maze-like land area that you explore on foot. If you enjoyed Subnautica for the collecting resources, exploring, base building, then you'll like this too. I liked the original so much I bought this without waiting for it to go on sale, and I don't regret it at all. I only wish there was another completed Subnautica game to play after this
I went into this game with an open mind. i now leave with the saying of "yeah no that sucked" more details: story was ahh and didnt really, what even was that plotline bruh?? story was everywhere and pmo constantly you gave the character a voice, she REALLY didnt need one! it made it worse!! creatures were beautiful... but there were too many and nothing felt.. right nothing felt special barely loaded and was laggy as hell music was awesome, definately a step up from first game. overview- yeah no that sucked
