Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This is very munch a love letter to the designers favorite games. Though the influences are blatant, what they do uniquely is truly unique. They took existing concepts, and did new things with them. The character abilities, enemy abilities, and variety is surprisingly high, and different enemies more meaningful than some of the games that inspired it. The game is fantastic! The biggest downsides are: the map sometimes getting stuck until restart; and being at a prompt to interact with an object disables weapon swap until you interact or walk away. But these are small gripes.
The game is addictive and well executed, can't wait for more deep customization, content and features! A hidden gem!

very fun
If Striving For Light feels familiar, you’re absolutely right — it’s from the same series as Striving For Light: Survival. Same world, same art style, same heroes and enemies. But that’s where the similarities end — Striving For Light isn’t a bullet hell game, but rather an action RPG. It keeps many of the abilities and weapons from its predecessor, while adding plenty of new features, such as crafting. Just like Survival, I can say only good things about its distinct art style, atmospheric music, and most of the gameplay — if only the dodge mechanic were a bit more effective, and if they hadn’t borrowed that ridiculous skill tree straight out of Path of Exile (you know, the one that seems endless but 99% of the nodes are just “+2% this” or “+5% that”). Overall, it’s an enjoyable game. I won’t have time to dive deep into it anytime soon, but I still recommend giving it a try. Video: https://youtu.be/ei-zQNEycic
It is a good game, but there should be more mechanic to deal with those unnecessary resource. Moreover, the diversity between characters is not that much. I may love this game, but not now.
Good indie arpg
Good game
I regret buying this game. Feels really cheap and steam deck controls are terrible. I wish I could refund it, dont waste your time when there are much better games.
- Endgame variado e desafiador. Cons: - Combate pouco fluido e com impacto limitado. - Interface datada e confusa. - Progressão inicial pouco intuitiva. - Repetição em runs longas.
