About

In a modern fantasy world, college dropout Grace is granted the power of a Muse - power she’ll need to find out the truth behind her predecessor’s death before time runs out. You’ll decide who Grace allies with, who she can trust, and who may betray her in this beautifully hand-illustrated roleplaying musical.
Written by David Gaider comes Stray Gods - an urban fantasy tale of finding your place, taking charge of your fate, and discovering answers. Your choices will change the endings, as well as the path you take to get there.
A compelling story of hope, self-discovery, and forging your path.
Adventure, love, and songs await!
Charm, negotiate, or strong-arm your way through their world as Grace, playing through original, fully interactive musical numbers composed by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory, Tripod (musicians Scott Edgar, Steven Gates, and Simon Hall) and Eurovision Australia’s own Montaigne (Jess Cerro). Fully orchestrated and performed by an all-star cast, you’ll feel as though you’re right there on the stage. With thousands of potential variations based on your choices, you’ll craft the soundtrack to your own one of a kind musical experience.
Choice and consequence built from the DNA of RPGs - no two playthroughs are the same.
Delve into a hidden world of mythic Greek gods and monsters as you get to know a cast of hilarious, enigmatic, and compelling characters. Forget what you know about these mythological beings - in Stray Gods you’ll forge friendships and find foes with many familiar names, but not so familiar stories. Play as star and stagehand as you determine the story you want to tell through conversation and song.
Find friendship, love, or yourself.
Build friendships with mortals and Gods alike. Stoke the fires of romance if you so choose - explore, pursue, and confess your love with four potential paramours. Decide who you want to be through every choice. David Gaider’s storytelling and characters come to life with performances by an all-star cast, with the likes of Laura Bailey, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and more cast members across video games, television, and Broadway.
A musical for video game lovers, and a video game for musical lovers.
With all the comedy and tragedy of your favorite stage shows, Stray Gods is a tongue-in-cheek and heartfelt reconception of Greek mythology combining what we love about contemporary musical theater with video games where character and story take center stage. Collaborating with some of the best in music, broadway, television, and games - Stray Gods is a debut not to be missed.

Stray Gods is a fun ride to enter. It’s a long movie where you actively take part in the story that is played out. The songs and singing overall as never awkward and felt nicely implemented into the flow of the game. It involves more difficult topics and left me with a somber mood. I was actually hoping for it to be a bit longer. If you enjoy story-driven visual novel type games, I can recommend this game. I also would’ve liked more interaction with the different characters before getting the chance to choose a romantic option. The way it was handled caused me to miss the exit, it seems. Nothing too bad, just a bit unfortunate. I also want to positively add that it should be easily playable if you are only able to use a mouse for example. You can disable timed events and the rest of the game feels like it only uses one button. I can’t speak for other accessibility features since I didn’t pay attention to them (besides making subtitles larger). Definetly recommend the game on sale, otherwise you probably have to know that you enjoy the genre.
i sobbed so much thank you

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 10 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Excellent voice acting, well written story, if you like stuff like dispatch and musicals this will be a top tier game for you.
I love this game a lot, it's like watching a musical vn. And all of the songs are top notches!
THIS IS SO AMAZING!!!!!!! I LOVE THEIR STORIES, THE SONGS, THE VOICE ACTORS/ACTRESS!!! I DIDN'T KNOW THAT IT'S LAURA BAILEYYYY <3
coole story über grichische götter und selbst die musikeleinlagen sind teilweise echt gut gemacht
催眠神器,一玩就困,抱着手柄睡着了,,,剧情无聊,音乐难听,毫无玩法可言,,,
This game is so cozy and interesting. All the songs were beautiful. I added some of them to my playlist. I recommend this game to anyone who loves musicals and Greek mythology.
It's an interesting game in the format of a visual novel. Had fun playing it and want to see some specific scenes play out differently as the branching of the story lead to various discoveries. As far as interactive games go i guess it isn't that bad. The music is good the dubbing and art in some scenes are good. But there are some downsides to this game which i found confusing and annoying at times. There are some pauses between dialogue and since it is a visual novel it might sometime seem like there is a lag or error in the game but no so scenes have long pauses that are confusing. Some times when character talks the image is static so again it causes confusion. Another downside i see is that we can't select specific scenes to play out differently, if we need to we should play it all over again which can be annoying sometimes since we can't skip particular scenes either. Overall, it's a good game and it's worth a try but it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea as some scenes can definitely get boring depending on how things play out.
