About

In a modern fantasy world, college dropout Grace is granted the power of a Muse - power she’ll need to find out the truth behind her predecessor’s death before time runs out. You’ll decide who Grace allies with, who she can trust, and who may betray her in this beautifully hand-illustrated roleplaying musical.
Written by David Gaider comes Stray Gods - an urban fantasy tale of finding your place, taking charge of your fate, and discovering answers. Your choices will change the endings, as well as the path you take to get there.
A compelling story of hope, self-discovery, and forging your path.
Adventure, love, and songs await!
Charm, negotiate, or strong-arm your way through their world as Grace, playing through original, fully interactive musical numbers composed by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory, Tripod (musicians Scott Edgar, Steven Gates, and Simon Hall) and Eurovision Australia’s own Montaigne (Jess Cerro). Fully orchestrated and performed by an all-star cast, you’ll feel as though you’re right there on the stage. With thousands of potential variations based on your choices, you’ll craft the soundtrack to your own one of a kind musical experience.
Choice and consequence built from the DNA of RPGs - no two playthroughs are the same.
Delve into a hidden world of mythic Greek gods and monsters as you get to know a cast of hilarious, enigmatic, and compelling characters. Forget what you know about these mythological beings - in Stray Gods you’ll forge friendships and find foes with many familiar names, but not so familiar stories. Play as star and stagehand as you determine the story you want to tell through conversation and song.
Find friendship, love, or yourself.
Build friendships with mortals and Gods alike. Stoke the fires of romance if you so choose - explore, pursue, and confess your love with four potential paramours. Decide who you want to be through every choice. David Gaider’s storytelling and characters come to life with performances by an all-star cast, with the likes of Laura Bailey, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and more cast members across video games, television, and Broadway.
A musical for video game lovers, and a video game for musical lovers.
With all the comedy and tragedy of your favorite stage shows, Stray Gods is a tongue-in-cheek and heartfelt reconception of Greek mythology combining what we love about contemporary musical theater with video games where character and story take center stage. Collaborating with some of the best in music, broadway, television, and games - Stray Gods is a debut not to be missed.

Зашло - Три акта пролетел за три вечера. Напомнило Wolf among us, только с песнями. =) Приятная игра - душевная. Перепроходить, наверное, не буду - в принципе всё понятно.
This game is beautiful. I really enjoyed the art style and the songs. The voice actors - so many of my favorite voices, singing beautifully! The plot is quite intriguing. Even after knowing it I want to replay and make other choices.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 10 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

legalzinho, as músicas não me pegaram taaanto e a história é meio bagunçada mas foi divertido
It is now 7:28 am and ive cried multiple times tonight but i loved it good night now
It's not a perfect game. The music isn't mind blowing, and neither is a lot of the singing. (It's good, don't get me wrong. It just didn't knock my socks off) What it is though is really quite enjoyable. It's a great game that rides the line between high quality and campy. It's serious when it needs to be and it's still when it's called for. The writing is quite good, as is the voice acting. The cast is awesome. I got really excited when like every other character started talking because their VAs are great!
Cute. Freddie <3
Laura Bailey and Ashley Johnson sings a duet in this... If that doesn't sell you, then sorry, can't help poor taste
I am not a fan of musicals, so I didn't expect much from this game, but I loved it! First off, the game has voice acting?? That alone takes it to the next level. The game also has a unique art style with pictures, which makes it stand out from other games. The story premise revolves around you suddenly becoming a muse randomly. Because of this, you are being taken away into a world where God's exist. You are replacing the last muse, which you saw die right in front of you. So of course, you're a suspect and must prove yourself to be innocent because her blood is literally in your hands. In this world, Gods have always existed but they hid themselves so well right in the middle of the city. Who would have thought? I liked how this game almost made Gods seem normal. They do not have any sort of crazy powers. If anything, there were some God that expressed that their powers were making them miserable. However, the ending of the game was not great. You mean to tell me that
the Gods together chose to reveal themselves to the whole world and the only thing to come out of that is that they become famous? You mean to tell me that the government wont take them in and conduct a million experiments on them? You mean to tell me that people wont storm their hiding spot and do unthinkable things to them because they are scared of the powers that the Gods possess? Yeah, right. Likely story... You're saying that at the end, Medusa was taken by the government by her OWN free will, so that she could control those urges she has of hurting people?
Sure, sure. BUT regardless, the game was truly enjoyable. You can play it multiple times to see different events. And also the musicals can have different outcomes and lyrics depending on your choices! So that's fun. I did love Charion, the one who gives passage to the underworld. He was very cute.
Okay, the game is not completely horrible but it's not for everyone. I'll try to leave this review free of heavy spoilers. - The interpretation of the original myths and how the characters, essentially gods, grew from their "canonical" past into what we see in the game is unconventional. There've been times when I was surprised and/or shocked by the writing choices of some gods' present just not fitting in with their past or not feeling logical to their original conflict or alignment. This is not bad, but it did make it harder for me to take the game events seriously - Some plot points feel rushed or in general unjustified, their impact not being as great as the authors might have intended, leaving me, in that situation to just not care about some events. Some characters were introduced just to never be seen again. - The pacing of the dialogs is slow. Not horribly, but it was hard to sit through everything at times. From the good things: - The artstyle is good. If you look close enough, most of the character sprites' eyes look as if they're crooked but it's easy to ignore once you get used to it. - Being able to choose between three options of personality for mc is a good touch. - I'm sorry I can't really think of much else. So, in general, if you're unbothered by the "canons" or original stories of the gods mentioned you will just be fine. The game is playable, it doesn't take terribly long to finish, it's nice to look at. I would just not recommend it cause, for me, the writing choices destroyed the charm of the idea, unfortunately, and I won't be replaying it. I stopped caring for the plot somewhere in the middle when some events collided with eachother with, on my subjective opinion, little reason or logic behind them.
Ich hatte eine gute Zeit. Nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger
