Storytime Cats - Meows and Mistletoes

I really love the cozy Christmas vibes in this game! There is a cute little storybook where each page has a short story, and the illustration that goes with it is the map where you search for cats and mice. I think that’s such a cute idea. For the gameplay, you can only see the cats and mice as little outlines, so some of them can be pretty tricky to spot. I find the snowy map really easy, but I struggle a lot more with the brighter and more colorful maps since I’m not the best at distinguishing colors. The Hunt feature is super helpful, and I love that it doesn’t have a cooldown. The achievements are also really easy to 100%. Overall, it’s a cute and cozy free game, especially if you’re looking for something Christmas-themed and relaxing.

Sadly some design elements make this one a miss even if it is a freebie. Settings include; audio controls, language selection, display mode, sensitivity settings and antialiasing options. This game is super easy if you zoom in. And well most of us zoom in to find the small cats and items. You can see the outlines of all the hidden cats and mice when you do zoom in. Also to use the hint button just spam it. I hate to post a negative review but this one has many flaws. Its one redeeming quality is that it is free. I'd have been upset had I purchased this one. It's so extremely hard to see the outline of these cats on my screen... I did one level. And the rest I just used the hint system (which is kind, it lets you click endlessly without having to wait). Zooming in to the pixels of the drawing was a bit extra. In this game you're looking for cats and mice. Both are outlines of a very faded memory of a cat/mouse that was once there. Recommended, it's free, it's Christmas themed and the hint system is kind.

A nice little game with cute cats. It’s free and offers more playtime than some paid hidden-object games.

I don't want to give this a negative review because I think the devs hearts are in the right place and it is free, HOWEVER; I must point out the flawed design of the game.. EVERYTHING that you have to find is INVISIBLE, if you're just looking at the screen you cannot see any cats, period, most find it games have the cats blending into something else or hiding behind something etc but in this one the cats and the mice are all invisible and you either have to just click randomly or do what I finally did and that is to zoom in really close and you will start to see a slight outline of the cats and the mice but it is BARELY there so you really have to look for them and they still are not easy to spot at all, as of right now I have two cats and one mouse to find but I've given up because I don't want to go blind looking for them.

Free. Not the best and not the worst. Free + cats = fun.
