Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 1 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
More Cats, More Details, Same Relaxing Formula
By now, Devcats has established a formula that I appreciate. Their games are simple, relaxing, charming, and perfect for spending a few stress-free hours searching for hidden cats. A Building Full of Cats 2 continues that tradition while introducing a number of small additions that enrich the experience without altering the core formula that made all Devcat's games so enjoyable. After completing the game 100% in a few hours, I found myself once again enjoying exactly the type of experience I hoped for when launching a Devcats title.
A Familiar Experience with New Touches
One of the things I appreciated most is that the developers didn't try to reinvent the game. Instead, they expanded upon the original concept with additional activities and interactions involving the residents of the building. These new elements provide extra variety and make the environment feel more alive, while never distracting from the main objective: finding every hidden cat. The result is a sequel that feels fresh while remaining faithful to its roots.
The Joy of Finding Every Cat
The true highlight, as always, is discovering the cats themselves. Part of the fun comes from seeing the increasingly creative ways they're hidden throughout the building. Some are immediately visible, while others blend perfectly into the environment or appear in unexpectedly funny situations. More than once I found myself smiling after spotting a particularly clever hiding place. It's a simple concept, that always keeps working.
Final Verdict
A Building Full of Cats 2 is another delightful addition to the Devcats catalog. It keeps everything that made the first game enjoyable, introduces a handful of welcome improvements, and delivers several hours of relaxing entertainment filled with charming cats and amusing discoveries. If you've enjoyed previous Devcats titles, this sequel is an easy recommendation.
A Personal Final Thought
Beyond the gameplay itself, one thing I always appreciate about Devcats games is the genuine affection for animals that shines through their work. It's easy to notice the care, respect, and passion that the developers have for the cause they support, and that adds something extra to the experience. For players who share a similar sensitivity toward animal welfare, it becomes more than simple entertainment. The hidden cats, the cheerful atmosphere, and the relaxing gameplay are already enough to make these games enjoyable. Knowing that they are created by people who clearly care about animals gives them an additional layer of meaning that I find impossible not to appreciate.
It took me a while to catch up with this one, but here we are. A building full of cats. Who wouldn't run their doors when hearing that there is a whole building filled with cats?! I'd be the first to stand in line to get inside. Heading through the first door, little Fofino awaits, invites us in and welcomes us warmly into this humble building. As is often the case, some issues await us to be solved. I like the mini games, it's always a fun distraction after spotting so many cats in a row. Every place we enter is filled with cats, waiting to be found, and sometimes we have to find other items as well in order to help out the tenant of that room. May I say these rooms look absolutely chaotic most of the time? They most certainly do, but I love every messed-up corner. It's not hard to tell how much love went into making this game, and as someone who enjoys each game they made, I really hope you continue making these games.
I don't know how to feel, honestly. As in, is this my new favourite entry in the series above A Tower Full of Cats? This sequel to the first Building Full of Cats is amazing. Improves on the original in every single way. The expressions of the cats, the art, the messages, and we even some characters this time around. Sure, some of the story is a bit cheesy, but that's part of the Devcats charm. In the original title, I criticised the lack of an ability to zoom in and out (or at least on Steam Deck. I don't know if a regular PC had the ability to zoom or not). This isn't an issue here, as thankfully you can zoom! If you're on Steam Deck, you can use LB and RB. The references are brilliant. Definitely got some good laughs out of me, and seeing some of the slightly more obscure ones was awesome too. The amount of content is significantly more than the first one, too. Where I finished the first one in about an hour, this one took me about six. There's a lot more to see and do here, with more than just cats to find! If I were to point out just one small issue though... It'd be that the orchestra minigame is quite difficult on Steam Deck due to the use of the trackpad. It's still possible, but could be slightly frustrating if you're going for a perfect score. The good news is that you can click slightly early and still score. All in all, this is a brilliant entry to the series, and definitely contends with Tower for my favourite Devcats title. They also plan to add more content through updates, so there's going to be more to do soon. Looking forward to it!
Those cat games are so cute and relaxing. Love it. Keep up the good work. And it's so cute that there are real cats there. Lily's story was also so cute. If she is still with you, give her a hug from me <3
I think I've played all of the Devcats games at this point. Each game gets continually better than the last one, and Building 2 may be my favorite. Each apartment/level is completely different from the last, which makes the whole playthrough always new, and each one has a little sidequest to give it a kind of separate life. The mechanics are the same as in any other Devcats game, and these are some of the best hidden object games out there.
Another cute hidden cats game from Devcats. Lots of pop culture and gaming references throughout. Several mini games to spice things up. I enjoyed it.
Another Gem of a hidden object game! Where most hidden object games are just one big canvas for you to find stuff on, this one has lots of different rooms, references, minigames and a story. A lot of love and effort went into this ♥
Overall 9.5/10 experience, points taken down for the insufferably hard rhythm section as, despite my best efforts, it is yet to be conquered. Same cutesy art style, adorable references to popular culture, a lot of care and effort in the scenes. If you are here for 'find a hidden object' experience - it is a perfect game for you. Support the cats!
