Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Thousands of years ago, humanity built colossal war machines to stop the apocalypse. Now they just use them for dance battles!
Using your own music or the built-in soundtrack, groove your way across a rich world, assemble the perfect mecha crew, and rise from humble beginnings to ultimate stardom.
NEW: .osz & .osu support
In addition to the automatic music analysis, you can now manually define full charts or import existing charts designed for osu!, osu!mania, osu!taiko, etc.
NEW: Arcade Mode
Skip the story and dive directly into Steel Century Groove's fast-paced, strategic rhythm battles. Complete objectives, purchase upgrades, chase high scores, then challenge the ultra-difficult upper ranks of Endless Mode.
Collect and Upgrade: Level up your mechs, equip them with mods, and pair them with different combinations of backup dancers.
Unique Gameplay Kits: Each mech has its own set of abilities, mechanics, and resources. A simple starter mech builds and spends energy, while later mechs have you maintaining an army of drones or swapping between cards in a mini deck-builder.
Flexible Rhythm Combat: Steel Century Groove doesn't demand a specific button press for each note. Instead, pick from your mech's kit of battle abilities.
No Playing the Metronome: Challenge yourself against interesting melodies, even when playing with your own music. You’ll never just be endlessly tapping out the beat.
No Accessories Required: Built from the start for gamepad or mouse & keyboard.
Streamer Mode On: Enable Streamer Mode and the game will play only exclusive, original music that won't trigger any copyright claims on YouTube, Twitch, etc.

One of the best games ever in my opinion, as a rhythm game lover. Warning: I only play Arcade mode because that's the most fun and I don't fw the story. sorry. I always wanted to have my very favorite songs in a rhythm game, but now I can! The world is your oyster with Steel Century Groove. Not only does it decently make the chart for the song it also has really fun mechanics and the progression to receive new mechanics is very rewarding... but just the fact alone you can add any song you want in this game is insane and makes it a must by. Also the mechs dancing is like baby sensory videos to me. I freaking love it. Game of the year!
cool game, idk if i got an actuall ending or if your supposed to do something after the credits but the ending i got felt really unsatisfying. scg midnight (the free prequel to this game) had a better ending. in this game they litterally killed off half the characters in one of the final sections for NO REASON. the end just felt rushed. if anyone knows what to do after the credits finish and your dumped back into the neon city place please tell me

I have another hour and half of playtime from the demo. OST has been great so far, and I've been picking only the harder to use Tenzerks, only one of them has been a bit difficult for me. Game is goofy in a good way, I love watching the robots dance, and I've been streaming it for my husband to watch.
mannn love the dancing LOL
Novel gameplay concept with a good soundtrack. A music game with custom builds and multiple strategies. Story is very funny, usually on purpose. Not super long but does have an endgame roguelite mode to keep you going once you finish the story. It could be a little overwhelming for people who aren't very familiar with rhythm games, but any rhythm game enjoyer should be able to handle the complexity.
I liked it, I can play music I like. is very fun.
Played the demo and immediately had to purchase it. The mechanics are fantastic which is a must in a rhythm game. The story seems like a fun and goofy throwback to the 90s. We’ll see where it goes. I can’t wait to really dig in. More people need to play this game!
Playing with custom music is the best thing ever.
its so good...ill wish i get amnesia to play this game again for the first time...its a rollercoaster.
This is why indies are the way forward for games to feel exciting. It's weird, fun, and very enjoyable. Everyone needs to play this.
