Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The population of the harsh desert planet Kwalasha needs our help. Their peaceful lives, working in the mining industry, have been disturbed by a threat that they cannot face alone: the Arachnids. Under Colonel Hawthorne’s command, the Mobile Infantry will take back control of the planet and smash everything that has more than two legs. Enlist in this exciting military campaign, meet inspiring characters, visit amazing locations and do your part in the heroic war against the Bug!

The Arachnids may have virtually limitless numbers, but they lack the thorough tactical training that the Mobile Infantry enjoys. Position your units in advantageous choke points or on higher elevations. Be wary, however, that battle mechanics such as True Line of Sight and True Line of Fire may limit your field of fire and allow the treacherous Bugs to lay in ambush.

Optimize your army by choosing from a wide range of specialized unit types, each with its own strengths, weaknesses and set of unlockable elite abilities. Rifle Troopers can use their shotgun ability to hold back large numbers of Arachnids, M11 Marauders bipeds can unleash a withering mortar barrage and the Fleet Liaison can call down dropships with reinforcements or direct an airstrike to wipe out whole swaths of enemies.

The Bug infestation is rooted in elaborate underground hives. These present a unique challenge that demands a delicate balance between aggression and defense. Beware of the numerous tunnel openings, from which hordes of Arachnids can emerge.
To eradicate the Bug problem for good, their nests must be eradicated!

I didn't have very high expectations of this game, just looking for a basic rts were you kill thousands of bugs but it kinda failed on both expectations. The bugs are really tanky a whole squad of marines firing at a single one takes 3-10 seconds to kill it, dissapointing but the real problem is it's an incompenent RTS your units randomly ignore you like your playing warcraft 2 and have worse path finding. Units move when you tell them to attack, attack when you tell them to move, In one instance told a unit to take a point and I comeback to find it had only moved halfway there, I repeated this process over 20 times till I finally clicked past the point and it finally went there. There is one thing the units are consitnent at doing though, finding an alternative route that goes through a fire and then standing in the fire, I'd take my eye off my main control group for 5 seconds only to find them all barbecuing in the nearist fire. I only played this game a few hours I lost maybe 10 guys to the bugs and easily over 100 plus multiple to the vehicles to them standing in fire. I'm looking for and RTS not a babysitting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ simulator. There are plenty of other problems from the writing, to then UI to the map designs, But there not worth mentioning. Even if this game were free it's simply not worth your time.

GenAI slop is rampant in this game now, wasn't always like that though, devs used to care. Avoid.
At the core a great game with so much potential, the territory mode made me reinstall it, but at some point I just ended up with "Why am I doing this to myself?". What could have been an awesome freesytle make-your-own-campaign game (something to learn from the usccess of the TW series), turns out to be an obnoxious run-between-capture-points-with-your-far-too-few-quads that kills every good vibe this game has. Instead of going big - as the ST franchise should be - with dozens of troops fighting against a bug onslaught on EVERY front, your biggest worry is bad wayfinding, too few resources and annoying voice messages like "you should capture more flagz, cuz dem bugs are gettin' stronga". Instead of having an option to reinforce ALL flags with defenses that actually have an impact, like the DoW 40k games offered, you just get permanent alarms that bugs just trashed another flag in 2 seconds, making the whole exercise feel pointless. Considering how badly base defense turrets perform, it's beyond me why you can only build so few. Anyway, it's somewhat sad how much I like the overall idea, the mood of the game and the humor of the franchise in general on one side, but then find out the new idea to revive the game just isn't fun to play, because instead of a sense of achievement after completing a territory engagement, I just feel relieved it's finally over. Some simple buttons for the campaing setup that allow you to have more resources, troops, etc. had probably fixed that already, but atm I don't feel like playing this again.
I used to like this game, then the geeks got their hands on it and started to tweak it to the point of impossibility. No longer a favorite. They ruined it.
Whoever designed the single player missions as well as unit balance needs to be slapped upside the back of their heads. Great game other than stupid balance, fog of war misbalance, lack of tactical pause, and design decisions.
