Starsand Island

I was a backer on Kickstarter and loved the Early Access, unfortunately I learned about the controversies surrounding the game and the studio and I am extremely dissapointed and angry. Don't buy this game.

Bought it and played it during Early Access. It felt like such a good farming game but not exactly finished or polished. Understandable. Now it's released and it still feels like that. Major disappointment.

to sum it up: they finished what they planned for the early access then slapped full release on it and called it a day :) + runs poorly on low settings.

I honestly had a lot of high hopes after playing the demo last year, but the game genuinely has not improved enough since then. They've focused on bugs (which are constant), but the game itself feels very unfinished and half done. I stopped playing for a long while some months ago because I just couldn't deal with the constant bugs and how slow things were moving (along with the disrespect to players with darker skin before finally giving us a color wheel that didn't even address the root problem), but I log on after the full release to see that not much has changed, yet they're charging triple A title prices for this game and its crappy DLC. It has barely changed from its early access days and it's just too damn buggy to function at times. It's always one thing after the other. I just don't understand why they released the game when it's clearly not ready, let alone worth what, thirty plus dollars? They ruined their integrity by clearly using AI without disclosure, paying for positive reviews (then pretending it was some random attack) and lying about the game's foundation from the jump. Even with all this funding and backing that they tried to hide, it's still somehow half-effort. Things people have been complaining about since demo release are still an issue. I'm just so freaking disappointed, I really rooted for this game and wanted to like it but it's just not worth the price nor my time anymore. The lack of effort is exhausting now.

1 - Si hay mods para ponerlo en español, no sé por qué la empresa no quiso contratar a alguien para que haga los subtítulos o ponerle voz, le hubiera salido casi gratis dado que en los foros había gente que se ofrecía. 2 - Tienen que mejorar el tema del rendimiento ya que tengo una pc bastante buena y aún así, si lleno todo de plantas empiezan los lagazos. 3 - en la parte del end game, los animales se pasan para la islita que uno desbloquea, deberían corregir eso. Todo lo demás está re bien, es un muy buen juego y son tan lindas las interacciones que no hay problema con comenzar todo de cero solo para volver a pasar esos momentos agradables con los npc.

bug和游戏里地上的草一样多，我两只手都数不过来。联机更是别提，NPC人物的模型从来都不在正确的位置上，背包和储物箱还很容易吞东西，房客从家里拆下来的建筑更是会直接消失，熔炉做东西睡一觉起来全没了，挖矿动不动就是卡出地图外面或者持续拉回，更别提他那个破服务器了，从来都是处于网卡的状态要么就是干脆通信超时就没有流程过。感觉就是掏了个连半成品都算不上的游戏出来，我看别人说这游戏出来也有个大半年了我不知道为什么到现在还能有这么多的bug优化还能这么差

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IS A BUGGY MESS ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS! DEVS ARE IGNORING US! I mainly play on ps5 and I don't know how on earth this game was able to release, it's a buggy mess. There's game breaking bugs. Missing textures. It rains/snows inside buildings. Awful screen tearing. Stuttering issues. Massive FPS drops if you have anything more than 10 items on your farm, to the point it just crashes. The game is empty, there's absolutely no life in the npcs. The game feels bare and unfinished. The quests are boring. The love interests are not interesting in the slightest. The textures are super fuzzy no matter what mode I use. Oh and the Devs ignore our complaints in the discord. Absolutely do not give them a single penny. This game is pretty much a scam in my opinion. If they listen to us and fix the issues I might change my review but for now its an absolute waste of time and money.
