About

An entire universe awaits you in Stars Reach. In this science-fantasy MMORPG, you'll visit strange, new worlds, become an explorer, and build a life on planets that react to everything you do. Your choices will change your world. And, you'll do it with every other player on a single server. Leave your mark on the galaxy!
Each world responds to your actions. A deep, reactive simulation allows water to flow naturally, forests to burn, and lava to harden into new materials and land masses. From lush forests to winding rivers to perilous mountains, every planet has its own ecosystems, resources, and challenges. Your decisions determine what resources are available to you, how wildlife reacts, and ultimately which settlements prosper.
Planets are living systems. Your decisions determine what resources are available to you. Climate changes, creatures migrate, disasters strike, and the world reacts in ways you can’t fully control.
Travel through wormholes to discover new worlds, explore, build, survive, and thrive. Every planet begins untouched. What it becomes is up to you.
Master one of dozens of skill paths, and live the galactic life you’ve always dreamed. Whether you want to protect settlers as a ranger, build a trade empire, or offer your services as an architect, Stars Reach offers many skill paths that allow you to chart a course through space that fits your play style. There are different weapons to master. There’s a career path just for you in Stars Reach.
You’re not locked into any single playstyle. Experiment with different skill paths and find the combination that suits you best. Build your own class from different skill sets and define your role in the galaxy.
Your first steps onto a new world take you far beyond the familiar. You’ll need to adapt to your surroundings by learning to survive. Every skill path has accompanying equipment, which you’ll gain proficiency with by using those tools.
More importantly, your contributions to the community will increase your proficiency. A camp you build will earn you experience when others rest at it. Community means survival, and we’ve built Stars Reach to support pro-social behavior and limit the ability for other players to ruin your experience through griefing.
You can build a cozy cottage on a remote hill, and carve out a living by yourself. But if you crave community, team up to build settlements and cities, shape how they grow, and decide how they are governed.
Team up and claim a large plot of land that isn’t just a home base. You and your friends can cluster your homesteads, build a community, and govern together.
The resources you gather can be sold in a unified galactic economy driven by players. Or, you can use them to craft tools and technology to supply distant worlds with vital goods necessary for their survival.
Trade with players across the galaxy, specialize in what you make, and become a master of your craft and earn renown across the galaxy.
Your choices determine what comes next.
Cities grow or decline, ecosystems shift, wildlife becomes extinct, and resources are used up or recover based on what you do. Protect the environment and its inhabitants, or strip mine it for profit. Other players live with the results of what you leave behind.
This is Stars Reach! What will you become?

Game is not ready yet. No enjoyment to play. tutorial gives u some information you have to figure out the rest. Hits on enemies are laggy and will die before hits even after they die. so im saying wait for a while before picking up the game or wait for it to go on sale.
Come back in a year or two. Then we will review. In the meantime, go play Star Wars Galaxy Restoration. That's the game you are looking for. Save yourself the money.

The game needs more cooking, its fun, just progression is very difficult.
I played a bit, long enough for a first impression, I am not at this time going to invvest money or my time into this release. For now the Dev's pretty much said it is Alpha in one of the responses. Sorry Alpha testing should not be early access, that should be at least Beta or a bit beyond. I will watch the reviews, but for now Hard Pass, that does not mean I won't come back to it once it has some time and patches under its belt. But so many other games coming out that I rather spend it on a game that is just about baked.
I might see how this game is doing in a year or two. Not ready now.
Interesting concept but right now unplayable. Seems like a waste to even have this in early access. All you can do is the same 6 or so missions to earn enough to buy a homestead. Takes forever after which there doesn't seem to be much to do. I'm sure many years down the development road this could be fun, but right now it's boring as hell and empty.
82 minutes of play time. Feels very juvenile. Like, almost Fortnite graphics. Will play some more just to see if it get better. But NOT worth the $30 I paid. More like $15 and a solid "meh". Can't recommend in current state.
Glaring issues right out of the gate with the character creator: Hair causes horns to partially/entirely disappear, or grows over ears (creating artificial 'pig tails' when it's supposed to be a bob). Body parts from 'default' characters left behind as artifacts, such as a vestigial ear with the female sasquatch. Yes, it is Early Access. However, these issues appear to only get worse once you enter the game. Marking of WIP elements is inconsistent (perhaps doing more harm than good). What's most concerning, is that the modern approach to development of "throw random things at the wall and let the players tell us what sticks" crops up everywhere. If you rely entirely on the players to tell you what the game should be, it's impossible for you to develop a cohesive internal vision to drive the game. As it stands, the move to Early Access comes across more as a financial decision, "this is when our funding calls for us to go into EA". Responsible development, however, would release to EA when the game is ready for that stage. If the game is indeed releasing to EA well before it is ready due to funding reasons, this is a *very* bad sign for its future. Edit: I have since found out that the game made the miraculous shift from "mostly negative" to "mixed" reviews. Had it been "mostly negative" at the time, I would not have purchased it. Looking through recent positive reviews, there is some rather obvious positive review bombing going on. I've picked out 2-3 templates that make up ~2/3 of the reviews I looked at. Even being very conservative (accounting for possible coincidental false positives), we're still talking at least 1/3 of recent positive reviews that look like they're straight out of a bot farm.
Game just not ready yet. And I doubt it will ever be.
