So let me clarify the majority of the reason I thumbs down this game is for personal preferences. But there has been some bugs. but before i do let me give credit where its due. its graphics are not bad at all for how old it is and it is a massive map. once you get the hang of it it can get pretty easy. 1. Issue is i hate the grind in this game. it takes so long to build up enough cash to have a real nice ship and to be strong enough to even play the game as well as the long haul across the universe. i get its space and all but damn. 2. learning to play takes a lot of reading boring training exercises. this is a personal issue because i mm more of a doer than a reader when learning something. 3. the auto pilot system is broken and will not maneuver well at all, often crash into things and often if you have it go to a planet to dock it will just fly past it or smash into it. 4. bug. the game crashes. i had to do many fixes to get this game to stop crashing, as for most older games but still. 5. it would constantly start in a different window resolution and often windowed mode and that got quite annoying. overall i give this game a 5/5 and thats just out of respect for what it could have been.

One of the most poorly optimized games i have ever played, sadly tabbing out brings the game back to windowed mode, the sfx in pause menu are absolutely trash, and some buttons in the options like "mute when paused" don't work, still quite fun though Also, Beams for some reason can fire through structures and ships at you The worst thing about this game are your allies, they kill what you want to capture, they abandon you or they steal your kills. I can tell you, reaching battleships isn'T making it more fun, the environment scales with you so you never really feel strong, and if you, your enemies die in a couple hits, it's kind of frustrating all around. Radiation is quite upsetting as well, since the icon is too small. Also the fact that TEXT BOXES don't work correctly in this game should say enough

Das ist genau die art von Weltraumspiel die ich gesucht hatte. Man fängt mit einem kleinen Schiff an und durch Kämpfen , Handel, Bergbau, oder Piraterie kauft man sich bessere Schiffe und rüstet sie Hoch. Dabei hat man sehr viel Freiheiten, man kann auch wahlweise Schiffe kapern und diese dann für sich selbst ausrüsten. Gut zu händeln , leichte Bedienung und viel Freiheit im Gaming ist genau das was ich brauche und schätze. Mir macht es sehr viel Spaß. Bugs und sonstige Fehler konnte ich bisher noch nicht entdecken. Das Spiel bekommt von mir volle Punkte. Mich hat es erstmal süchtig gemacht.

A fun little space game. Graphics look pretty good even with only a modest GPU. If you're into 3D space shooter/exploration games, this should be right up your alley.
