Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
TL;DR: This game is fantastic, but it's not "Starcrawlers 2", and most of the negative reviews are from people expecting it to be that sequel. It might fit if you like dungeon crawlers, and are ready to overcome the weird controls and get deep into understanding all the good synergies for character creation. While the game takes place in the same universe as Starcrawlers (you'll see some enemies from there, and Chimera as a megacorporation was encountered a lot before too), it is totally different gameplay-wise. Instead of a turn-based team dungeon crawler with 2d fights this is a first-person single protagonist "time progresses when you move or act" action crawler game. The visuals are decent, office spaces of Chimera do look quite nice, and the final level adds a lot of variety to the design (no spoilers!). Starcrawlers: Chimera has a ton of replayability, with randomized office room patterns and enemy placement, but, most importantly, its character creation possibilities (with 36 skills, 7 to select for each run). The office-like humour of the game also helps with the overall climate (especially Chimera Linq interactions). There are some negative bits to this game too. Control scheme can be quite unintuitive (and cumbersome to use when you start hoarding many abilities). There are sporadic bugs here and there, but usually they are not game-blocking. Initial experience with the preset character skills can be rough, so you need to experiment to find best builds (and there are not so many guides about that online). It took over 4 years for me to finally complete it (bought the title back in 2022, early access days, not all of the levels were even done, and forgot about the game until recently) but I'm really happy to have experienced its full version now!
