Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

STAR WARS: Bounty Hunter returns as a polished revival of an action-adventure that places Jango Fett at the center of his own dangerous journey through the criminal side of the Star Wars universe. Developed and published by Aspyr, this version maintains the identity and structure of the original while improving its presentation and accessibility for modern systems. It is important to approach it as a remastered classic rather than a completely redesigned contemporary action game. Beneath the improvements remains an adventure built around early-2000s design principles, and that combination of old and new defines both its charm and its limitations. The story is set before the events of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and explores an important period in Jango Fett's career. A dangerous assignment sends the bounty hunter after a powerful target, drawing him into a conflict involving criminals, mercenaries, deadly creatures, and the darker forces operating behind the scenes. The campaign provides additional context for Jango's reputation and his place within the prequel era. Instead of concentrating on Jedi heroes and enormous military conflicts, the narrative explores bounty hunting, organized crime, and dangerous contracts, giving the adventure a grittier perspective on the galaxy. Jango's equipment is easily the strongest part of the gameplay. His dual blaster pistols form the foundation of combat, but his arsenal extends far beyond ordinary firearms. The jetpack allows him to maneuver vertically, cross gaps, reach elevated platforms, and attack from advantageous positions. Other gadgets, including his flamethrower and whipcord, reinforce the feeling that the player is controlling a heavily equipped professional hunter. Switching between these abilities gives combat considerably more character than simply moving between rooms and firing at enemies. Bounty hunting itself also plays a meaningful role. Jango can identify characters who have prices on their heads and pursue these optional targets alongside his primary objectives. Capturing wanted individuals rewards players for examining encounters more carefully instead of immediately eliminating every enemy they see. It is a relatively simple system by modern standards, but it strengthens the role-playing fantasy because Jango actually performs the profession associated with his character. Searching levels for additional bounties can also provide an incentive to revisit missions and improve completion results. Platforming and exploration occupy a substantial portion of the campaign. Jango can jump, climb, navigate ledges, and use his jetpack to traverse environments with considerable verticality. This prevents the game from becoming an uninterrupted sequence of shooting galleries. Some areas encourage players to study their surroundings and determine how to reach higher platforms or distant objectives. The jetpack remains especially satisfying because it serves both traversal and combat purposes, connecting the movement and fighting systems naturally. The age of the underlying game becomes more noticeable during extended play. Enemy behavior is comparatively basic, encounters can rely too heavily on large numbers of opponents, and some objectives lack the sophistication expected from modern third-person action games. Level navigation can occasionally become confusing, while certain platforming sequences feel less precise than contemporary equivalents. The camera and movement are improved compared with what players might expect from a straightforward rerelease, but the fundamental structure remains rooted in an older generation. Anyone expecting a ground-up remake may find these limitations particularly noticeable. Visually, the remaster respects the original aesthetic while presenting it more cleanly on current displays. Environments range from industrial facilities and criminal strongholds to more exotic locations, helping the campaign maintain visual variety. Jango's iconic armor remains an obvious highlight, and seeing his equipment operate during combat contributes substantially to the Mandalorian fantasy. The environments cannot compete with modern blockbuster productions in complexity, yet the strong Star Wars art direction gives them personality that compensates for their comparatively simple geometry. Sound is equally important to the experience. Blaster effects, jetpack movement, machinery, weapons, and other recognizable audio cues immediately establish the Star Wars atmosphere. The cinematic elements and character performances further strengthen the connection to the prequel era. Combined with Jango's distinctive appearance and equipment, the presentation succeeds at making the adventure feel authentically connected to its source material rather than like an unrelated action game with a licensed theme placed over it. Steam Deck compatibility is a positive aspect of this release. The game is Steam Deck Verified, making it suitable for Valve's handheld without requiring players to rely on complicated manual configuration. Its mission-based structure is also well suited to portable play, since individual stages can be approached more conveniently than the enormous uninterrupted sessions often associated with open-world games. Controller-oriented gameplay naturally complements the handheld format, making the Steam Deck a practical way to experience the campaign. The relatively straightforward structure is actually refreshing in an era dominated by massive maps, elaborate crafting systems, extensive skill trees, and endless collections of side activities. Progression revolves primarily around completing missions, overcoming enemies, navigating environments, and tracking bounties. There is little unnecessary complexity separating the player from the core fantasy of becoming Jango Fett. This simplicity does contribute to repetition, but it also keeps the adventure focused. STAR WARS: Bounty Hunter ultimately succeeds as a preservation and modernization of a distinctive piece of Star Wars gaming history. Its repetitive encounters, aging level structure, and occasional movement frustrations reveal its origins, yet the central concept remains entertaining. Jango's arsenal, jetpack traversal, optional bounty system, darker prequel-era storyline, and recognizable atmosphere give the experience an identity that has survived surprisingly well. It is especially worthwhile for Star Wars fans interested in Jango Fett and for players comfortable with classic action-game conventions. Rating: 8/10

Too difficult, tedious, and annoying. Already stuck because there are too many enemies that keep spawning while I’m trying to get to the top apartment, and when I did eventually manage to climb up all the way and fight the ship I died and had to restart the whole level. Too frustrating, needs an easier difficulty.
Are the mechanics silly in 2026? Yeah.. but is it nostalgic as crap?? Heck Yeah! Brings some good memories back!
Some of the level design can be really frustrating, with a few stages dragging on longer than they need to, but it's still a very cool game overall I liked that the game never really tries to make Jango out to be a hero. He's a ruthless bounty hunter doing dirty work for whoever hires him, and the game is better off for sticking to that. If you can put up with some dated level design, it's an easy recommendation

Love this game as a child but this is a lazy remaster... very lazy...
I love most Star Wars games, but not this one. I will do my best to get the remainder of the achievements that I need for this game and to never touch this game again. Spam-filled gameplay with 0 tactics plus terrible controls. I even had NPCs continuously run off of certain platforms to their death, including a bounty target that was charging to get me. The NPC pathing could not understand that there was a left turn (for them) to get to me, and to make sure not to fall off the unprotected path's edge. There are many other Star Wars games that are much worth the price (I bought this game discounted).
