The game turned out better than I thought it would. The dark creepy environment, and the combat and or stealth Felt like a good traditional horror puzzle game. The story and lore was top of the line . I definitely recommend playing this game.
A great Star Trek vibe with strong characters and a good story (at least as far as i got, i'm not through with it when writing this). When i bought the game shortly after release it had some pretty annoying performance issues and the graphics were not so great, but since the latest patches all of this vastly improved, and it is now a very enjoyable experience i can fully recommend, especially to the average Trekkie as i am.

It's decent, nothing extraordinary but not a bad game.
Couldn't make it work with the quest 2
game will not work, tried repeatedly, including clean install - everything updated / verified etc.. spinning wheel showing on black screen then ctd... cannot diagnose.. no response on discussion post i did about it, no (useful) advice to be found on other discussion posts about same issue others also having.. surprisingly, cracked version works though, much to my surprise.. so playing that guilt free as i paid for a license. what i have played of the game so far is dry +dull.. could change theme / graphics and call it "Generic VR game for sunday drivers".. 0 / 10 - would not trade cold pressed latinum or self sealing stem bolts for a copy of this wonky trek.
Sucks no tutorial or walk through.
Early into the game still, but I already have to commend what has been achieved here. I was half-expecting a low-effort reskin of another game to fit the Star Trek mould, but not at all. The direction, story and designs feel appropriately on-brand. There's plenty of jank for sure, but that's kind of a given with VR anyway. If you can forgive the drawbacks, this is a pretty cool experience. Especially for Trekkies. There's really only one complaint that hurts the experience for me, and it's that there's seemingly no way to adjust your height. The game just asks if you're sitting or standing and then goes from there. I imagine it just sets it at launch, but my character always seems to be ever so slightly too short, in a sort of half-crouch when I look down at myself.
Schade, so viel verschenktes Potential. Die tote Idee ist am Ende zu wenig. Das Spiel entspricht meinem Gaming-Skill von vor 40 Jahren. Leider keine Empfehlung
Its Pretty good, its a stealth Horror adjacent game, with the setting of Star Trek with a touch of almost eldritch horror. The game isnt that scary, not many jump scares or dread mostly just used thematically and as a backdrop. the game is a pretty linear narrative story however it has some light survial elements with resources to collect and such, the map is also a metroidvenia in styling as in retraversal as you unlock more access through abilities and secerity clearances to broaden the map. The game is certinally AA or maybe even A level quality but I think that still very good for what it is. I really dont think the game requires any prior Trek knowledge. overall its good a fun game.
This game started off a bit slow but I was addicted about an hour in. The story just grew more and more interesting until I could barely put the game down. I love the “infection” mechanic. You can get creative with your stealth/ combat style. I AM a Star Trek fan and of course have a soft spot for an outcast Vulcan. So that may have contributed to my enjoyment of the game..
