리메이크의 리메이크, 스타 오션 더 세컨드 스토리 R입니다. 옛날 JRPG 감성 물씬 드는 캐릭터들, 스토리. 세계관이나 대사 모두 딱 그 감성입니다. 최대 장점이라면 다양한 캐릭터 육성. 스킬 포인트라는 것으로 스킬 능력을 올리고, 배틀 포인트라는 것으로 전투 기술을 익히고, 정말 다양한 일상 스킬들로 다양한 장비, 음식 등을 만들어 활용하고.. 옛날 게임이 맞나 싶을 정도로 다양한 재미가 있어요. 별 거 없어 보이는 전투는 그래도 생각보다 쾌적한 편이에요. 꽤 단조로워서 그렇지. 단, 단조로운 전투 시스템 때문에 지루해질걸 우려해서 그런건지 적들의 마법이 너무 강합니다. 적이 마법 쓰면 최소 한 명이 죽거나 빈사상태.. 밸런스에는 아쉬움이 많습니다. 아무튼 재미있게 즐겼네요. 추천.
Excellent remaster. Stays true to the original and adds some nice QoL adjustments as well to make the grind feel a lot less daunting. The addition of the 3D backgrounds in contrast to the 2D character design is fantastic. My favourite addition is that they removed the whole cast cut scenes for magic so it no longer feels awful to use spell casters in your party. If you're a long-time fan of the franchise or just a fan of classic JRPG's, this is worth the pickup!

Great game
Un excelente JRPG en toda regla. Star Ocean The Second Story R me pareció una obra que transmite maravillosamente el sentimiento de aventura, nos pone de lleno en una travesía galáctica con un ritmo muy bien llevado. Su mundo es rico y sus personajes tienen cada uno su propia identidad. En su conjunto, es sobresaliente, pero si me parece que tiene muchos sistemas que se explican de forma muy superficial, yo recomiendo jugarlo con guía para disfrutar y comprender el amplio espectro de habilidades que el juego ofrece.
One of if not THE favorite RPG games of all time for me. A rare JRPG that plays like an RPG, could not speak highly enough about this game and it's remake. Loving every second and it feels like only improvements have been made. 10/10.
