STALZONE is the PvPvE extraction shooter where you don't have to start over — and the only one with persistent world worth belonging to. You are invited to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone twisted by anomalies and divided between rival factions whose territories shape the danger around you
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

About
You are invited to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone twisted by anomalies and divided between rival factions whose territories shape the danger around you. Choose your side and over time you’ll learn where it’s safer to travel and also where every route can become a gamble.
Experience nail-biting tension without the frustration of loss: keep your gear and long-term progress but the loot you find is at risk until you bring it back alive. Upgrade your weapons and refine your build. No one can take it away from you.

The world persists and is not just a place to loot. NPCs live in it, factions fight over it, and players shape it with no escape timers or progression wipes. It's the only extraction shooter that plays like an MMO — and the only MMO that plays like an extraction shooter.
The Zone is a living social ecosystem where open-world events, faction conflicts, social hubs, and a player-driven market bring people together. Trade, cooperate in 5-player squads, ambush, betray, or carve out your own reputation. Every system creates interaction, and every interaction becomes a story.

A cinematic storyline that includes main and side quests smoothly immerses you in the world and its mechanics through nail-biting action, dialogues, and real choices that affect the story. You’ll enjoy a narrative experience almost like a single-player STALKER-style journey inside a persistent online world.

STALZONE has grown through years of development, iteration, and community-driven evolution. Over that time, it has become a unique ecosystem of mechanics, social systems, and player-made stories unlike anything else.

New to extraction shooters? STALZONE is built to give you the best of all worlds. Enjoy a 50+ hour cinematic story campaign that guides you through the Zone step by step delivering dangers, progression, factions, and PvPvE tension. It gives you room to learn, adapt, and survive against both the world and other players, turning extraction into something you discover through fun, not suffering.
STALZONE is intentionally free to play. No box price, no trick, no scam — just a world we have spent years building, asking only for your curiosity and nerve.
Explore more. Risk more.
The Zone doesn’t punish curiosity and remembers.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped caring only about getting the next rifle and became more interested in putting together a good artifact and equipment setup. That side of the game has more depth than I expected. Different suits are useful in different places, artifacts can change what your character is comfortable doing, and a setup that looks great for combat may be a terrible choice when exploring a dangerous area. I like having to think about where I am going instead of wearing the same equipment for absolutely everything. Finding an artifact is also one of the few loot moments in an MMO that still gets my attention. You do not always find something valuable, but when you finally get a useful one, the trip home suddenly feels a lot longer. Checking its properties, deciding whether to use or sell it, and changing the rest of your setup around it can easily take up an evening. The downside is that the game does not explain this part very well. New players can waste resources or sell something they should have kept because they have no idea what will become useful later. Balance changes can also make a setup less effective after you have already invested time into it. I have used guides more often than I would like. Even so, experimenting with gear is one of the main reasons I continue playing. The numbers are not just there to look complicated; you can actually feel the difference when a build starts working properly. I would like clearer information inside the game and perhaps an easier way to test combinations, but the system itself is satisfying once you understand it. I came for the shooting and stayed because apparently I enjoy turning my inventory into a science project.
