Squidlit

100% Achievement Review Fun game done up as an old game boy game. Its a pretty simple platforming game, as most gameboy games were back in those days. You have the ability to jump, ink, and squiggle. Ink is your primary attack which can only be done while jumping and you'll attack downwards at the enemies. Squiggle is just dancing and you can make the other squids dance with you if you go near them. There's a few bosses, including one that really made me think. The only thing I disliked was the speed run achievment. I'm an achievement hunter but I absolutely HATE speed run achievements. I have ADHD and can easily get distracted away from the games i play and it completely ruins a speed run if I get distracted even for a second. This ones speed run is particularly tight.

This is a short but charming platforming adventure game that looks and feels like a forgotten gem from the Game Boy era. There isn't much challenge here, but given the cost, this is a more than pleasant way to spend an hour or two. If some easy-to-pick-up retro fun sounds appealing to you, definitely check out Squidlit!
