Embrace mind-blowing moments as you’re pulled deep into the many worlds of Split Fiction, a boundary-pushing co-op adventure.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Absolutely pretentious storytelling. Cannot sympathize with any of the characters. Most of the puzzles take seconds to solve. It is pretty much an autoscroller. It takes two is miles better.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best CN #13, worst US #90 · 12 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 50.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 53.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Split Fiction? More like Peak Fiction! Buy it now, most fun co-op game on Steam.
Missing the split-screen experience on a couch with a friend, partner or family member? Or simply just want to hop on to a nice co-op game? Then getting Split Fiction is a total no-brainer!
I've finished the game three times with three different close friends, and I absolutely love it from start to finish. The amount of creativity developers put in this game is top notch. Love all the details and some references from many other games and even shows. Story writing was good, it starts off pretty slow and can be somewhat chaotic in the beginning. Game completion including side stories should take around 10-15 hours to beat. One of the character seems unlikeable due to her mean attitude, though as the story progresses her character develops near end, as well as to the part where they have to obtain the other fragment and lift each other's spirit up, I find this particular moment really beautiful.. I almost teared up. Both sci-fi and fantasy world designs are very well-made and gorgeous, sometimes ya just gotta halt for a while and just enjoy the scenery. Gameplay is packed with loads of actions especially in sci-fi world, the fantasy world on the other hand is much more chill. While the game isn't incredibly difficult but it definitely requires significant teamwork at times, hence proper communication is key. There are also two minigames available as side story which lets players to compete each other for fun. The music playing in the background is nicely composed too. Overall the game is absolutely a blast to play, best part is the second player doesn't need to pay to experience the game! Will return to this game again for 100% achievements some other time when able. Definitely worth the full asking price, or at least try get it on sale if can. Much recommended for anyone who wants to have a fun co-op session with a friend/etc, you'll not be disappointed!
Mediocre and forgetable story which seems very CHATGPT-fied (2 people wrote it? Really?) that is attached to really nice co-op mechanics. Second best game by Hazelight. Meh/10 - worth playing with your best friend.
Love this game so much had so much fun playing it with my boyfriend we both loved it, it was even better than It Takes Two it is so pretty the developers clearly put a lot of love into this game love both characters and how their friendship grows overtime the story was very emotional 100000000/10 one of the best games I have ever played <3
this game sucks john suckarse
The game looks pretty ... sometimes. A lot of the environmental art was good, but in places I literally wondered if it had been generated by AI. The character models on the whole were not expressive, and often looked unnatural instead of conveying actual emotion. The gameplay is very repetitive. I like the idea of players having asymmetrical powers that work together in order to forged a path forward, but a lot of the mechanics were reused and felt copy-pasted into different worlds (that looked very similar). Even in some segmants where the gimmick was a bit more interesting, normal movement was always the same no matter what, so it made the game feel same-y and the levels blur together. The story ... oh, the story. The bad guy is the rich bad guy, with no proper motivations other than get more rich. The main characters have sad stories but they are forced and extremely predictable. At multiple times, we predicted verbatim what would happen or what the characters were going to say. The banter between characters during actual gameplay was the worst part, full of horrendous puns and stupid, vapid dialogue. Not really sure why this has so many good reviews. We did finish it, but mostly because we wanted to see if it got better or continue getting worse. It got worse. The final boss was terrible and the sequence leading up to the final boss was one of the worst in the game imo. Very boring overall and a hamfisted gimmick. 4/10 maybe. Don't play it.
Рекомендую 12/10 Чистый кайф, под кооп. Лучше, чем Тейк ту.
Excelente, divertido, original, bastante creativo, nos gustó mucho, recomendadísimo.
