This is a fun, casual game, that is a lot trickier (harder) than it might look at first glance. It reminds me of the Puzzle Bubble classic, but it is significantly different: (i) you have limited ammo (spit) and (ii) you need to manage the bouncing balls from the top and from bellow; to jump, you need to spend spit, meaning that eventually you lose the ability to jump, and need to recharge your spit (it takes time to do). Besides a story mode (really not sure what is going on, some subtitles would be nice – you have to guess by watching some cartoon), there is also a party mode, that is supposed to allow for co-op local or online play (haven’t figured out how to do the online co-op, but maybe there is no longer a strong community playing this game). Overall, I think this is an excellent game for kids (9/10) and a good game for some casual relaxation for grown-ups (7/10).
Sweet game! The general formula might remind you of classics like Super Pang, but the game puts some twists on it - it is much snappier, the player can propel themselves into air by shooting downwards (which is utilized a bunch in harder levels), and ammo (spits) is limited (you can pick missed projectiles back up, get them from splitting smallest bubbles, or stand still to recharge). The game's levels further embrace active playstyle by introducing a variety of breakable blocks, jump pads, and hazards. The "story mode" consists of 12 floors, each of which has 3 level sections, each of which has 3 levels and a "B-Side" (harder versions of the same levels that are unlocked for beating them quickly enough). Beating each level set/B-side unlocks another character style (these are wonderful) and a color palette (which you can switch at any point cause why not, really). On other hand, the "arcade mode" offers players to vote for one of 4 levels from selected selection (including campaign levels and new ones) and has a variety of modifiers to make the game easier/harder/something else entirely. Online multiplayer works great, no complaints.
