Wait! Who the heck are you?! Can you see me? You CAN, can't you? You've drunk the Spirittea and now you can see me!! Look, we've got problems! This town is crawling with troublemaking spirits. They've become lost because humans have stopped worshipping, leaving offerings or even thinking about them anymore.

Solving the spirit's problems - To remember themselves, they'll need anything from some spicy noodles to finding and digging up their lost treasures, so get your problem-solving hat on!
Making friends with the locals - The townspeople all have their own schedules, likes, dislikes and hobbies to take part in - from bug catching to karaoke, there's something for everyone!

The bathhouse is an ancient spirit building hidden up in the mountain, and it's up to you to clean it up and fill it full of customers! Once the spirits are in the bathhouse, you'll need to clean towels, chop wood to heat the baths and seat the spirits with their friends for the ultimate bathing experience. Each spirit has their own preferences so you'll need to get to know them all and upgrade the bathhouse to become the best bathhouse keeper around.
Keep the bathhouse and towels clean - Grab your trusty broom to sweep away the cobwebs and collect up all your towels, you'll need to keep everything clean, dry and organised.
Deliver a five-star service with food and scrubbing - Get ready to pamper your spirits with food straight from your kitchen and a give them a good scrub while they're relaxing!
Make the water perfect for each spirit - Chop wood for the boilers to heat up the water to the perfect temperature and mix up various elixirs to make the water perfect for each spirit - they'll all have their preferences and favourite recipes!
Sit friends together and enemies apart - Every spirit has others they like best, as well as some they don't enjoy spending time with at all! You'll have to plan carefully when you lead spirits to their baths - don't seat just anyone together! Unless, of course, you don't care about making money. Which I do. Very much so in-fact.

Reviews
Review: Spirittea
PONTOS POSITIVOS:

I was hoping for a Spirited Away meets Stardew Valley but sadly it doesnt work. The bathhouse is too slow. Maybe it gets better after day 4?
Really wanted to like this game but just can't get into it. I really enjoy the premise and the part of running your own bathhouse. Fun and cute! But everything feels fairly unpolished and a bit empty. The UI is not great too :/
Love this game a lot!! Really good if your wanting a cozy game that isn't just farming!
love it!! fun and aesthetically pleasing! runs fine on older hardware:)
I honestly can't state how much I love this game. I've played many hours on switch, and I'm writing this as I get ready to start a, hopefully full, run on pc because it seemed like it may be easier to take personal notes this way, which I feel isn't required but is very helpful! I really enjoyed my first (incomplete) switch run that I did without looking up anything really, but now that I'm on a mission to really solve all the problems, I know even just notes of where I am in the process of a problem is going to be helpful. I love that there's the mystery aspect, the problem-solving, and the task management of running the bath house.... this game really just scratches all my itches. Not to mention the Asian culture and mythos and just care that went into the game!! It's very clear the devs loved making this game, and I feel honored to get to say I love playing it!!! I really don't know how I haven't heard this game all over every cozy game board!! I see a lot of the like, gaming news reviews the devs included say its a mix of stardew valley and spirited away, and they aren't entirely wrong, but the combination of management with riddle-solving really makes it stand out in the stardew/cozy game genre. The aesthetics, reminiscent of Spirited Away, are also just so fun and gorgeous and ugh I really cannot say enough how well this game comes together. Play it!! You will not regret it!!!
I mostly wanted to try Spirittea because I love Spirited Away, so the whole spirits and bathhouse thing immediately caught my attention. I ended up really enjoying it. I like exploring the town, meeting all the different spirits and slowly figuring out what they need. It has a really nice atmosphere and there's always something small to do, which makes it pretty easy to lose track of time. It definitely has some rough edges though. Some quests aren't very clear about what you're supposed to do, and there are a few things that feel repetitive or a bit clunky. But for me, the atmosphere and the overall concept make up for most of that. If you like cozy games, Japanese folklore, or just want something relaxing to play, I'd say it's worth giving a go.
I've seen many people complaining about the art style in this game. I don't really agree. I think it's cute and charming. It definitely does lack a certain cohesiveness, but it doesn't take away from the gameplay at all. The aesthetics are made through the subject matter more than actually how it looks. I will say though, that while exploring and clicking on random stuff is definitely fun, the art style makes it very difficult to tell interactable items between just decoration, which can get frustrating. So far, the gameplay and story has been very fun, and somewhat challenging. The game doesn't walk you through everything, or when it does, it can be easy to forget. Some googling required. But I think that's better than super easy. Dialogue is cute, stories haven't gotten repetitive yet but I could see them possibly turning into that.
can sometimes be a little confusing, tho wouldn't be surprised if I was at fault. otherwise, very fun game with an interesting charming premise
