SPINGUN is a "manic two-button arcade shooter". Two buttons. One spaceship. Zero chance to survive.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 15 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Выиграть это сложнее, чем обыграть тетрис, так как приходится двигаться в 2D, а управление ещё более кривое…
Abstract
It's harder to win the game than to beat Tetris, because you have to move in 2D, and the controls are even worse… Works fine on Ubuntu 16.04 with Intel® HD Graphics 4400.
GNU/Linux
Проблем с GNU/Linux портом замечено не было. Выжил минуту и был этим «достижением» счастлив (потом просто «выбивал карточки») в среде Ubuntu 16.04 на ноутбуке с видеокартой Intel® HD Graphics 4400. The number one thing that will turn me off from a potentially good arcade style game is bad controls - and I can't STAND the controls in this game. SPINGUN is a newtonian movement shooter like Asteroids with a wild pixel art style. Seeing the game in action looks pretty great honestly, as sprite quality itself is as simple as early Atari and computer games, but are used in a flashy way to produce neat looking effects. However, the controls boil down to literally two buttons: Left Mouse/A to go left, Right mouse/D to go right, Both buttons to shoot or select on the menu. Thats right, this control scheme is used for the entire game, including the menus. This is one of those games that I feel is trying WAY TO HARD to be unique by saying "look at my unique, but simple control style!". Yet, I find that control style uncomforable with the WASD keys (physically straining my fingers) or ineffective (the mouse). The minute I found out that the game is designed around this pretentious control setup - I was done. I love arcade style shooters, and this intentionally annoying control scheme ruins it for me. I want a refund, but I'm pretty sure it's been in my library for too long. SPINGUN has positive reviews, so some players can gravitate to the controls - so I know some people will enjoy it. SPINGUN is intolerable for me.
I applaud Fermenter Games for taking a risk with SPINGUN. The controls are simple but unique. The traditional controls of twin stick shooters reduced to only two buttons. Left and right thrusters. Press both at the same time to shoot. To fly around you need to alternate thrusters. This is fresh! It also comes at a cost. A payment my brain can't pay. The controls are difficult to use. When you really want to fly straight it can be frustrating when your fingers don't do what you want. I feel glued to the side of the arena. Enemies charge at me making it even worse. That's where I fail. I can't move fast enough out of the way. Still, I see the other positive reviews. Their brain was able to do it. I can't fault SPINGUN for my failure. If you think you can do it and the game is on sale, I say go for it! I want to see more interesting versions of the same tired mechanics we normally see. F**k yeah! I guess mobile skills really sometimes translate to PC! What a masterpiece of a game. Love the soundtrack, love the style graphics, the low-rez also good, love the game modes, love the rush for the top! Controls might be annoying at first, but you'll get used to them if you don't casual yourself out. Mastering them is truly a fun process. The mobile version is good fun too. Maybe trying it first will prepare you for the unique controls? By the way the bare-bones version is free. I would describe it as the most hardcore mobile game I have ever played. Thank you for making this game.
很蓝的啦 闪避全靠苟 生死不由人 像极了失去了掌控的命运 落下泪来..
Game has a horrible shooting and movement system and you get like 30fps in the actual game.
Controls take a bit to get used to, but once you have them the game controls very well with fluid movement and satisfying shooting.
This game is simple, but it really pulls through on replayability. I don't play for long periods of time, but I probably play at least once every month.
Reaction to SPINGUN controls after first five minutes of play: WTF?! What genius came up with this? Reaction to SPINGUN controls after first hour of play: Amazing! What genius came up with this? Fun, frustrating arcade-style shooter that grows on you the more you play it. Lots of replay in the different game modes and also in achievement hunting.
