Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice and polished
Alas! And to think what high hopes I had. I jumped into this game after the stifling TW Warhammer 3, and I was sure I was in for a feast of grand strategy with hero elements. But this is unplayable. It’s like some ADHD sufferer’s worst nightmare. It works poorly on almost every level. It’s a turn-based strategy game with an incredible number of events happening per TURN that are almost impossible to control, since at best you can only field 2! units at a time (as you can guess, the computer doesn’t have this problem), because you simply won’t have enough gold for the rest. As a result, instead of tactics and concentration, you end up micromanaging! The global map works poorly; moving towers as units and depleting resource sources drive you crazy. Tactical battles are even worse; the computer gains incredible advantages out of nowhere—initiative, positioning, and so on. Auto-battle is a joke, but if auto-battle guarantees you a win, then entering a controlled battle can only make things worse (and most likely will); again, if the battle is lost by design, it’s unlikely you’ll be able to fix anything with your tactical approach (as in TWW3). In the end, you can’t control the global map or gain a tactical advantage over the AI. Poorly balanced trash with potential (
It seems like very abitious project on paper. In most of aspects it reminds me classic Age of Wonders games, which is good, because these are awesome games. But unfortunately the game totally feels like a beta, in some cases I'd say even alpha version. I'm not talking about bugs, I didn't find any. It just feels like the game is not finished, and I see no further updates.
One wish this game was as good as Spellforce 1, but... It is not. Not much lore background, you mostly smash autoresolve, hoard stuff only to not use it in the end, it tends to be the same after a while, regardless of what playstyle you have.. Alas, still, you'll return to it, play it again and again, graphics nice, ingame mechanics are good mostly and it's till better than the woke perversions AAA studios are crapping out. One can only wish we would get another Spellforce game as good and entrhalling as Spellforce 1, but alas, we can at least have this. Worth the monies invested regardless of it's imperfections, even more so when at sale.
