Spectra

Spectra ist ein an Audiosurf angelehntes Musikspiel basierend auf dem gleichnamigen Album der britisch/irischen 8-bit Musikerin Chipzel. Erst mal die Musik ist echt gut, sofern man auf diese Retro Electro Musik steht. Man fährt durch zufällig generierte Level und weicht dabei Hindernissen aus. Dabei wird jedes Level von einem der Songs des Albums unterlegt. Leider ist das Spiel nicht sonderlich gut. Es fängt bereits viel zu schnell an und die Steuerung fühlt sich an als würde man auf Glatteis schlittern. Eine Sekunde mal nicht auf gepasst und schon ist man aus der Fahrbahn gefallen. Mit der Musik an sich wird nichts gemacht, die Beats wirken sich nicht so wie in Audiosurf auf die Generierung der Strecken aus. Das Spiel wird als kompatibel mit Linux beworben. Allerdings ist die Linuxversion des Spiels nicht funktional, sie hängt im Ladebildschirm. Das wurde bereits 2015 gemeldet und nie behoben. Wohl deshalb weil der Publisher 2015 insolvent gegangen ist. Man kann keine Updates mehr für Spectra erwarten.

A simplistic but fun arcade racer with a neat soundtrack and aesthetic - it's certainly nothing extraordinary but can be very relaxing and doesn't cost a lot of money.

I actually did not know this was a game since I had been listening to the soundtrack for so long. As a game, it's really simple, maybe too simple. You just move left and right and try not to fall off the map, there's no filters or anything, not even an options menu. But I am so in love with the soundtrack, that I can see myself playing this game for quite a while since it gives me something to do while listening to one of the greatest chiptune soundtracks of all time.

If like me, you're a fan of racing/object avoidance games, then this is the game for you! The dynamic soundtrack paired with the nostalgic 80's aesthetic really makes for a fun game. (It's also slightly addictive trying to get all the achievements...) The only thing I'd really like to see is local multiplayer (on separate tracks), but other than that I really can't complain. Great game by an awesome team of Indie Developers!

Love this game. Simple concept with great music makes me enjoy it so much. Not for everyone but if you love 8bit music you may love this.

This game is not bad and has potential, but is a skeleton of what it could be with some added mechanics. It feels like once you've played one map you've played them all, but with some additional mechanics it would make me more inclined to play it more. Agile, innovative, and/or swift gameplay make this experience better than Mind Dead, would 0/0 picks STRONG MECHANICAL INNOVATION 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[h1]Spectra est un jeu de course futuriste[/h1] Ce jeu est très bien fait par sa réalisation, par le choix des couleurs et il faut l’avouer aussi par sa musique. La musique du jeu Spectra est superbe et elle est réalisée par la musicienne Chipzel. Dans ce jeu, vous conduisez un landspeeder sur un circuit au milieu de nul part dans l’espace. Votre objectif est de faire les différents parcours intégralement et en récupérant un maximum de bonus. Il semble que les parcours sont générés en fonction de la musique.
