About
BLAST Off into SPACEVENTURE! Become Ace Hardway, a "Life Support Systems technician" (let’s be honest—a space plumber), and his robotic dog, Rooter, on an epic intergalactic misadventure. When a routine repair job spirals into galaxy-spanning chaos, Ace finds himself battling sewer monsters, evading crooked cops, and uncovering a sinister conspiracy involving mind-controlling video game consoles. Along the way, you'll build a new spaceship, tinker with bizarre tech, and navigate quirky worlds filled with alien oddballs, unstable AIs, and absurd puzzles.
Created by the minds behind the beloved Space Quest series, SpaceVenture combines sharp humor, challenging puzzles, and nostalgic charm in a modern point-and-click adventure. Featuring stellar voice acting, a retro-inspired score, and endless nods to sci-fi classics, this crowdfunded game delivers a hilarious and heartwarming romp through the stars. Will Ace and Rooter save the galaxy or just make a cosmic mess? Only one way to find out!
Build your ship – Scavenge for parts, refuel with questionable bio-waste, and piece together your interstellar junker as you forge your path across the stars.
Explore a galaxy of interesting locales – From junk asteroids and sketchy space stations to alien deserts and the Hyperspace Beltway, every stop is packed with puzzles, and that trademark Two Guys from Andromeda humor.
Interact with unforgettable characters – Encounter crooked cops, eccentric inventors, shady CEOs, and a robotic dog with a nose for trouble. Everyone has a story... and some of them want you gone.
Solve challenging puzzles with a comedic twist – Use your wits, tools, and trusty PDA apps to fix leaks, outsmart enemies, and uncover hidden truths about a galaxy-sized conspiracy.

Honestly . i love the Two Guys from Andromeda , but after the umpteenth game breaking bug , the pointless action scenes such as the flying ( that can be skipped because they are useless) , the endless failures in virtual physics such as fixing the watersupply . and now i am stuck because i installed the pipe on tatoorakis before i should have or something. It s wonderful , but this is so broken it is not fun and the point n click bits are interrrupted by not fun pointless click bits. seriously this took you 9 years. dedication . but i m sorry . i really want you to carry on , but this is after struggling so many times with illogical nonsense from the start. ( and yes of course i completed all the spacequests back in the day , but the action segments are just not your forte. please make a 2d gorgeous adventure that this could be. sorry. bugs are worse than dying. i will try again later, for now , i will leave my replaying seven hours of the game to someone who doesnt has enough time on their hands and i recommend spacequest 1-6 first.. fiinished it , minigames are very buggy, just support them , but be prepared for a messy game 6/10
It would be very rare I would 'Not Recommend' a game to others. I'd just stay silent. I really, REALLY wanted to like this game. I loved the Space Quest series. And this game has the spirit of Space Quest... just. But it is SO rife with bugs, missing dialogue, and confusion in the story. For example, on multiple occassions characters act like they know each other when they've never met. Or you get a new quest, to go somewhere, but the dialogue that introduces the quest doesn't play. Why am I going to X? No idea. Reload the game and the dialogue plays this time. It'd be okay if that happened occassionally, but its pretty consistent. Don't even get me on the immobilization bugs or when the animation for a story-progress action just doesn't play and you need to reload. How this game had seven-odd playtesters and still shipped like this is beyond me.

Sneaking in for a largely unnoticed Christmas 2025 release, this long-awaited adventure game from the Two Guys From Andromeda was so long-awaited it includes voicework from the late Gary Owens. Suffer through baffling adventure game logic and pixel hunts from the dawn of the medium and UI design so innovative it defies innovation, in order to enjoy a payoff of occasionally fantastic content and great gags. Guys, it's not great, after ten minutes of fruitless clicking I needed to hit up the walkthrough to understand I need to place a robot dog on a shelf, and that's as unintuitive as can be. But I just can't hate a game with this much hyperprotobiomaticplasmasynergism in it. Go in with the right expectations, and SpaceVenture is 100% worth a play, I'm glad to see it made it across the finish line.
like most people, grew up with sierra/lucasarts adventure games, and space quest will always be near and dear to my heart. however, this just doesn't hit the mark, it's clunky, if there's a story here it's half baked, repetitive, boring gameplay (cmon, we've moved on from "find X things" adventure games haven't we?). ah well, at least it did finally get released. just go back and play SQ if you're looking for something to enjoy. personally i'd rank those 5, 4, 1, 3, 2, 6.
