Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.13/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In the 31st century, Space Trash Scavengers roam the cosmos, risking their lives for riches amongst the debris of an ancient war.

Build your Space Rig–a 3D raft with artificial gravity, power, trash processing, farming and defense. Craft the everyday food, fuel, weapons, ammo and space suit upgrades you’ll need to survive out here in the vastness of the cosmos. Automate your factory, using conveyor pads to deliver ingredients between your machines.
In space there is no up or down! Expand your base in any direction for the most efficient layout. Once you are equipped with the necessary fuel and a warp drive, you’ll be free to explore other sectors and continue your mission.

Circumnavigate tiny asteroids, fly between abandoned outposts, and board derelict spaceships as they orbit the system. Take caution, however, and remember to keep your jetpack fuel topped up–you’ll need it to get back to your Space Rig safe and sound!
Each salvage zone is a procedurally generated, dynamic, and ever-changing open world.

You are an employee for the galaxy’s number one waste disposal firm, stranded far away from home with a mission to clean the galaxy from the remains of a galactic war. Space trash is your main resource. Whether it is salvaged debris floating in space, advanced and rare tech from wrecked ships, or scavenged goods from asteroid surfaces, you’ll want to snatch it all up!
Recycle and refine it to produce valuable goods that will net a tidy sum on the Trash Exchange, and spend it to upgrade your kit. Use conveyor pads, splitters and more to automate as much or as little of the process as you want.

You’re not alone amid the wreckage. Alien bots patrol most sectors of space nowadays and they’ll be drawn to you as your operation expands.
You’ll need a steady aim, impeccable defenses, and an upgraded armory to protect your Space Rig from the dangers of these foes. Survival depends on your ability to defend yourself!

Looks like more than what it actually is. Needed more work.
Its so very grindy and repetitive - I want to finish it but get tired just thinking about it.

I absolutely love this game. I've been playing since Let's Game It Out released his sponsored video of it and have had quite a bit of fun with the game. I do wish there was a co-op feature to it or a game like this with a co-op feature because I think that would be a lot of fun. Overall though I highly recommend this game.
grind grind grind simple easy then grind some more. love it
Space Trash Scavenger is a clever blend of survival, crafting, exploration, and automation that transforms the endless emptiness of space into a rewarding playground for resourceful players. Developed by SquarePlay Games and published by Paradox Arc, the game places players in the role of a lone scavenger tasked with surviving among asteroid fields littered with the remains of forgotten civilizations and abandoned spacecraft. Instead of focusing on large-scale storytelling, it lets players carve out their own adventure through discovery, construction, and steady technological advancement. The result is a sandbox experience that feels both relaxing and engaging, rewarding curiosity as much as careful planning. The game's strongest feature is its satisfying scavenging loop. Every derelict station, drifting wreck, and abandoned satellite offers valuable materials waiting to be recovered. Players constantly weigh whether to recycle collected scrap into essential building materials, convert it into advanced equipment, or sell it through the in-game market for credits. This simple but effective economy keeps every expedition meaningful, as almost nothing collected ever feels useless. Finding rare technology hidden inside dangerous locations provides an additional incentive to push farther into unexplored sectors, making exploration consistently exciting throughout the campaign. Building and expanding your orbital headquarters forms the backbone of long-term progression. Since construction takes place in zero gravity, players are free to expand their station in nearly any direction without being restricted by conventional terrain. The modular construction system allows for creative layouts while encouraging thoughtful planning for power generation, manufacturing, storage, farming, research, and defense. As the base grows from a modest survival platform into a massive industrial station, there is a genuine sense of accomplishment that reflects the player's decisions rather than following a rigid blueprint. Automation becomes increasingly important as operations expand. Early manual crafting gradually gives way to interconnected production lines capable of refining resources, manufacturing equipment, and distributing materials with minimal intervention. Designing efficient production networks is highly rewarding, especially for players who enjoy optimization and logistics. The automation systems are approachable enough for newcomers while offering sufficient depth for experienced players who enjoy maximizing productivity. Watching an efficiently organized station function almost entirely on its own provides one of the game's most satisfying moments. Exploration remains consistently enjoyable thanks to procedurally generated environments that encourage players to venture into new regions. Asteroid clusters, abandoned facilities, and scattered debris create varied locations filled with hidden resources and valuable discoveries. Traversing these areas with a jetpack gives movement a smooth, weightless feel that fits the game's setting perfectly. Environmental hazards and hostile robotic enemies add tension without overwhelming the experience, ensuring that preparation and equipment upgrades remain important throughout the journey. Combat is intentionally straightforward, serving as a complement to the game's survival mechanics rather than its primary attraction. Players encounter aggressive machines protecting valuable salvage, requiring investments in improved weapons, armor, and defensive structures. While firefights may not possess the complexity of dedicated action games, they successfully create moments of urgency that prevent exploration from becoming routine. Defensive planning also becomes increasingly relevant as larger stations attract stronger threats, encouraging players to balance industrial growth with adequate security. Visually, Space Trash Scavenger captures the beauty and isolation of deep space through colorful cosmic backdrops, detailed wreckage, and attractive lighting effects. The environments successfully communicate a universe filled with forgotten history, allowing players to imagine the stories behind every ruined station and shattered vessel they encounter. The audio design complements this atmosphere with ambient music and subtle sound effects that reinforce both the peaceful solitude of exploration and the intensity of combat encounters. One of the game's greatest strengths is the way its various mechanics naturally support one another. Exploration supplies resources for construction, construction unlocks automation, automation improves efficiency, and improved efficiency enables even more ambitious exploration. This progression feels smooth and rewarding without forcing players down a narrow path. Creative mode and additional late-game content further enhance replayability, allowing both casual builders and dedicated optimization enthusiasts to enjoy the experience at their own pace. Although the game occasionally shows minor repetition due to its procedurally generated environments, its satisfying gameplay loop, flexible building mechanics, and steady sense of progression outweigh these shortcomings. Players who enjoy survival games with an emphasis on creativity, automation, and resource management will find plenty to appreciate, while those expecting constant action may find its slower pace less appealing. Even so, Space Trash Scavenger stands out as a polished and distinctive entry in the survival crafting genre, offering dozens of hours of rewarding gameplay through exploration, experimentation, and continuous expansion. Rating: 8/10
Abandonware. Admittedly small team but the tiny updates they were pushing dried up long ago. Most of the game still feels like early access.
Not a bad resource-gathering base-building game. Unfortunately there's no automated resource gathering, and crafting automation is pretty primitive. Prepare for a lot of running around and micromanagement of getting resources to the crafting stations. Some interesting environments to explore, though. Wait for a sale.
def a indie game but cozy and chill. If you don't want to be overwhelmed by some of the harder automation games it's a good one to sink into
Neat concept, all round not fun game.
