I like this one! It isn't a 10/10 masterpiece but the gimmick is fun - you're rewarded for both forgoing maximum damage and following a particular rhythm - and the patterns are decent. I think the small bullets' visibility is a little too poor, especially for people playing on smaller horizontal screens where the effective game area will be very small already. It's a fun game though. Also bugs are super cool and I love moths so I'm a little biased.
I've played this for 15 hours on another account. I love this game! Fun, dynamic, and beautiful bullet patterns! Interesting scoring system! It has tate mode (for vertical monitors), and it plays nice with my Saturn USB pad. The colorful, psychedelic graphics look great too. Who doesn't love moths?

fun little cave-inspired doujin. theres two gimmicks to the scoring, part of it is bullet cancels with this special zone thing you can activate which raises your mult, the other half is using your rapid fire to soul drain enemies, making them shoot much harder patterns, and then killing them with laser for big score. it didnt appeal to me enough to go any further than 100% achievements and a quick 18m score, but it's relatively interesting and definitely should appeal to someone. i kind of wish bombing didnt take away your skull mode meter, because currently bomb spamming final boss and settling for 1x for the final boss defeat bonus seems best for score, while it would be cool to have an aspect of bomb spamming it then using skull mode right at the end to get back to 24x multiplier for the bonus. the survival play is decent, though quite easy, and one of the achievements has an incorrect description on steam (but a correct one ingame.)
I do not like this shmup. For some reason, the bullets go too fast for me and I just get hit. Can't pass the first stage. I have a soft spot for this genre, so eventually I'm going to finish this game (but not today and not soon). Danmaku Unlimited 2 is more my speed and I prefer it. I'm currently trying to complete the first stage of DU2 on Very Hard with no continues (it's so good). Why am I giving this game an "upthumb"? Because I like shmups as a genre and appreciate small developers taking their time to make games in this great but forgotten genre. Keep them coming!
If you are eyeing the Space Moth games in any way, buy this one, or at least buy them together in a bundle. This is a remake of the original and an improvement in almost every way (the few things the original did better are so insignificant that they hardly matter at all). This game has better pixel art, a secondary scoring mechanic essential to survival that is not present in the original, remixes of the soundtrack of the original, better boss fights, more intricate enemy bullet patterns that somehow feel more fair at the same time, and last but not least, enemy bullet patterns contain more colours than just pink and purple which makes them gorgeous to look at. This game is worth it at full price or on sale. EDIT: I almost forgot to mention that this game gives players 3 continues instead of having that weird checkpoint mechanic from the original - something I consider to be a big improvement.
쉽고 가볍게 할만함 볼륨이 작아서 정가에 사기엔 아쉬움
Great shmup with an identity. Clearly inspired by Mushihimesama and kosmische music it carves a clear path for itself - especially with its unique scoring system that is integral to the survival gameplay. At first I wasn't big on visual and sound feedback lacking impact but it works as a more trancelike, meditative alternative to full on action Cave games.
Bullet Hell con ambientación de insectos. Me recuerda mucho al Mushihime-sama.
One of the best SHMUPS on PC, now updated/remastered/remixed.
