Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought this game for 2 bucks and thats what its worth, The grind is horrible The Interface is not that fun to maneveur through The Gameplay is stale I played a few hours but dont buy it for full price, its not worth it
$12 for a mobile game, of this quality? Yeah no... there's a gigantic lack of tooltips in the game, the tutorial doesn't explain hardly anything except movement. Each 'sector' on the map takes just like 3minutes to 'complete' then you move on to the next, so there's literally no exploration to be done in the game. You're limited to picking up just 5 quests at any one time, which is insane. Literally the only way to make money is by doing missions, so there's no trading commodities or even asteroid mining that you can do. If you're looking for a game like this, but one that is actually worth playing, then look at games like Star Valor, Starcom US, Cosmoteer, Drox, Star Singularity, etc. because this game is just far too basic (due to it being a mobile game) and you'd be way better off just adding a couple of bucks to the $12 that this game would cost you, and getting one of those that I mentioned above.

Great game but could use a few fixes to formations and maybe the ability to have more than only 3 ships, and also more types of ships, more quests... basically just improve the game more like i would assume is already happening. So in like 2-3 years this game will be the best space war game ever!
Fun little space combat thing with some strange design decisions:

You can't use better equipment without researching it first. It can drop for you, and it's listed for purchase at stores, but you can't buy or equip it until you've researched it. I would have preferred an equipment bonus unlocked through research in addition to the existence of better equipment.
There is no penalty for failing missions, which leads to some interesting situations where you can promise both sides you'll help and then reap the rewards from whichever side wins.
The game assumes you will side with a faction and help them wipe out the others. You are unable to progress in the game unless you do so. In my playthrough, I took no sides and grinded up reputation for all factions by replacing all of my weapons with repair beams and taking missions from whoever would offer them. You get the same reputation credit for mission completion whether or not you actually fired a single shot. Unfortunately, this also meant that eventually I could not progress the game without deciding to turn on one of my allies.
I recommend it on sale for a few hours of fun, but it could be so much more if the developer decided to return to it someday.
UP. Зашёл через почти 2 года посмотреть что поменялось. После встреченных надписей на английском языке в перемешку с русским. Пришёл к выводу что проект окончательно внимания не стоит.
For other game reviews, please follow us at What The Game?
Space Menace is a Sci-fi RTS where you play a captain who will eventually decide the fate of the world/universe. Whichever faction that does take over the world depends on who you choose to ally with. In the universe of Space Menace, there are 2 main factions apart from the Pirates (denoted as Red on the Starmap), they are the Athon Federation (Orange) and the Dracorian Empire (Blue). Both are opposing forces of one another, adding in the Pirates, it is essentially a 3 way fight.
Free To Choose
At the start all 3 are neutral to you. You’re then essentially free to do missions for either the Athon and Dracorian at the same time if you wish. Missions come in 3 types, Intercept, Defend the Station and Pirate Hunting. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2901396976
3 Things To Do
Defend the Station has you defending a station of either of the 2 main factions and you will fight off against the other faction. Intercept is the opposite and Pirate Hunting is exactly what it says. So doing either Intercept and Defend the Station will increase your Reputation for the faction who gave you that mission. Pirate Hunting is the same but your reputation for the Pirates will reduce.
Failure is an Option
Each mission has 3 difficulty types, all will reward you according to their level and the enemies you face will scale according to it as well. One thing in common is all the missions will have a time limit for you to complete them. Failing to do so won’t have you penalised for it.
A Station For Everything
Missions are given at sectors that have a Station and it is listed under the Job Board. Also at the station, you can buy and sell weapons, utilities and ships. There’s a small amount of utilities and weapons that are available in game which will help better your ship/s via the load out tab after you’ve purchased or looted it from destroyed ships. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2901396629
Power is Everything
As an RTS, Space Menace is simple to pick up and play. Attacks are done automatically so all you have to do is pick where to move your ship and adjust whether you want your ship to use weapons or shields or to have them off to conserve power. Power is needed to fire weapons and to jump between sectors.
3 Step Process
The gameplay loop is very simple in that it is basically pick a mission, go to a location, do the mission (destroy enemies and stay alive) and then once that’s done you can upgrade or sell stuff at the station. Rinse and repeat. Initially it can get monotonous while grinding for money in order to upgrade your ship. But once you have enough money to buy your second or third ship, things will pick up faster in terms of progression. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2901396682
Blurry, Needs Focus
Aesthetically Space Menace looks good enough, with its animation & audio (albeit repetitive) is up to par with everything in that regard. However the way the game looks, especially the UI and the text and such, has a sort of glow effect to them which can make some player’s eyes hurt as it makes things seem blurry and unclear. This might be depending on the individual but one that is very noticeable and new to me.
Final Thoughts
Space Menace might be one of the most accessible RTS out there as the gameplay loop, mechanics and skills needed (or lack of) makes it an easy pick up and play type of game. It is simple in nature and can have that effect of “just one more turn/mission” on the player. However due to its simplicity, it may not be for everyone, especially those who are looking for something deep and challenging.
+Combat is fun +Formations are helpful +can control multiple ships +varied gear and builds for your ships +good music +simple and straight forward tutorials +/- just combat to do. no real exploring or campain to go through. straight forward to fighting and grinding rep for one of the 2 major factions -the grind is really, really bad (really bad) -research system doesn't make any sense; i gain research points by jumping to new sectors then spend those points to unlock higher tier components via their respective research tiers. this exacerbates the grind heavily. There's a good game to be had here, but not for $12 to be honest. If the grind was removed and things were more focused on killing baddies to loot components to sell or retrofit onto your own ships this would be an easy yes. But in less than an hour I saw what there was to see and the sheer amount of grind to progress further is a huge NO in my book.
Nota: 0/10
This is a top-down real time action game where you control up to three starships and go around and do... stuff. There's not a lot of variety in missions or activities to do, mostly just scaling up until you get to the limit of what the devs implemented. At that point you've got it made. What the game does, it does pretty well. The animations are smooth, and generally feel good. However, the game has these weird 'blind spots' where some mechanic should be there and simply... isn't. For example, you cannot shift-click to select multiple spaceships. You can click and drag a rectangle, you can click on their icons on the side menu, but you can't shift-click to select multiple ships. These kinds of things aren't terrible, but their exclusion is so strange. It is like a sculptor carving a statue out of fine marble, nailing the curvature of the muscles and the proportions but making it without arms. Doesn't mean the statue is worthless but... why? The above is so you go into the game informed. It is fun for a few hours and as long as those are your expectations, this is a solid choice.
