About
Space Engineers is an open world sandbox game about designing, building and testing your own space machines. Construct ships, stations and planetary bases in a fully destructible environment, then explore planets and space, mine resources, survive hazards and engage in combat alone or with friends in Creative or Survival modes.
Play solo or in multiplayer, from small co-op outposts to huge community servers. Start with a simple lander, grow into a mining and industrial empire, or focus on warships and planetary fortresses – the game gives you the tools and physics, you decide what to build.
Space Engineers uses a volumetric physics engine: every block and voxel has mass, inertia and damage. Ships break apart, stations crumble and terrain can be drilled, carved and reshaped, so your engineering choices really matter.
Space Engineers is grounded in real engineering and hard science fiction, driven by realism and plausible near-future technology. Think modern space programs extrapolated into the future: realistic ships, stations, tools and systems where everything is built and simulated block by block. It’s about the machinery you build, not about magic or scripted set-pieces.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"One last thing to place down..." you tell yourself, at 7 PM, before dinner. Five minutes later, it's 3 AM and you haven't left your chair or had anything to eat or drink for hours.
It's a good game, old, but it isn't exactly worn down either. There's still updates, a LARGE active workshop with plenty of inspiration or ships to use in whatever desirable way. And while it can be tricky to learn at first, it is fun to master and learn how you work with the placement system and what themes you like in order to make working ships that either do or don't look good, but are always progress and a way to make you think. I haven't tried the scenarios yet, but the survival is fun with friends for your own sort of "Space Race", totally recommended for even the casual players.

cool
i built a woman. clang took her from me :(
I never leave a review for almost anything and this game is extremely fun and interesting but I really want to the devs to know it gets a 4.5 / 5 stars for me for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ eating sounds! I don't have misophonia but the sounds your character makes when eating is hands-down the worst thing about the game. Like, yes, we truely make those sounds when we are eating but that is not how experience them. Just like we don't constantly feel our clothing while wearing them, we don't experience the sound of eating like that either! Just give the eating food wrapper sounds and I'll withdrawl my complaint!
My only problem with this game is the survival to be real.
