Gameplay is overall fun, but the AI art is a massive issue. Not only is it harmful for the planet and ruining the real world, it's ugly as hell and makes the game painful to look at most of the time. I just wish they'd hire real artists, especially with how small the game is and how few assets relative to other games that would need the remake. It doesn't even look like they update the game or add any more so it shouldn't be so difficult to support real artists and make the game not piss on the eyes.
Tom and Ben showed this to me, im hopelessly addicted! but its cheaper than buying warhammer the old world! kremlo came from space

This game can be a lot of fun. But it lies to you and the dice rolls are coming from a "bag" of 30 dice. The huge issues come into play with phenomenal above average rolls the AI units receive, especially on 4+ defense rolls. You'll be amazed how a unit that is 2 points less than you in every strength/skill category somehow beats you're unit 5+ times in combat. The reason this happens is all dice rolls come from a bag of 30 dice that have preset numbers so (6 6's 6 5's 6 4's.. etc) So the AI will get into this groove of not doing super well on attacks with you and then you'll crush them in combat, and they'll use the rest of the dice in their bag and just save themselves from damage for rounds on end. The dice rolling really destroys the game and when you should be smashing through a unit so that you can take advantage of better field control and helping you're other units with a premium unit that you've enhanced you're just on a merry-go round. It sucks. The game also LIES to you about whether you can enter into charge engagements or not. When ever you are facing another unit one side of the unit will highlight yellow if you can charge into that side of the unit. This lies to you continuously, whether it doesn't like the geometry or just RANDOMLY thinks you're trying to charge the front when you had the flank of the unit highlighted it will completely screwup your game. For these reasons I'm uninstalling. They got my money... I had some fun... but really parts of this game are too broken to want to continue.
Good but A.I. gen pics look dookie, hope they can just be placeholders for now cause of the dlc paying into the game.
This negative review will be changed to a positive one if and when the artwork is replaced by non AI generated art. The game itself is good, I'd be buying a bunch of the DLC too if AI was't being used.
Uses AI art
Budget but madly fun Warhammer, 5th edition style. Fun and addictive. Great job Dev's.
This game saved me $1000++ bucks in armybooks, paint tools & model sets.
I dislike AI artwork
Nice game, I'd even pay for your dlcs if you got actual artists instead of ai
