Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best BR #81, worst UK #87 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

so peak
shadow part is great, glad to see some of the shadow the hedgehog stages. also been wanting to replay sonic generations. do recomend but should wait till its on sale
jogo incrível
as someone who grew up with sonic generations, revisting it has made me question why i liked the game so much. The level design for most of the stages is just really boring. The gameplay encourages the player in both classic and modern formats to just abuse a button that lets you go super fast and skip over the entire level with hardly any challenge. All of the stages are linear with literally no exploration or puzzles to stop you from blowing past anything, you can sight read any stage and clear it in like 2 minutes. The missions are sometimes interesting, but a lot of them are filler or just unfun. Stuff like "race a clone of sonic" where you just play the entire stage again with the illusion of having a race because the ai clone is so slow. Most of the missions with sonic's friends are just "press a button that makes the obstacle disappear", and a lot of them still have the problem of being able to blow past everything with no challenge. The inclusion of the dropdash is so insulting and stupid i can not get over it. Why does ONLY modern sonic have it? it is literally the most useless ability- the only time i've ever used it was when i accidentally activated it and rolled off a platform into a death pit like a dumbass. There is not a single stage where the drop dash is even remotely useful, it was just added because it was in sonic mania. Just dumb. I really miss when stages were longer than a couple minutes and had ♥♥♥♥ to explore in them. I really hope that we drop the boost formula soon, or at least do something interesting with it. Im so tired of it, im so tired its making me think sonic 06 actually wasnt a bad game. Its maddening.
Best sonic game
cool
My wife divorced me and took the house and custody of my 3 beautiful children, this game has been a good substitute
Great combination of a classic character in a new challenge. Love the combination of Sonic and Shadow focused gameplay. A fantastic game for the kid to enjoy an iconic character in video game history updated to modern PC gaming. Would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the Sonic game franchise or is looking to introduce PC gaming to their children with a classic character from the golden age of cartridge gaming!
