Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Honestly had no expectation and thought it was really fun. Definitely gonna finish it, even the battle mode is actually addicting customizing your own mech and playing like almost mario-party kinda games, i didnt bother to check it out till I unlocked Metal Sonic and Metal Amy parts.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I didn't think a sonic game could make me angry until I played Sonic Unleashed as well as fighting Big Egg from this game
The game is pretty fun and the animations on tails (at least) are cute. The levels are good (for the most part). Would recommend (unless you don't like easy games, as this one is pretty easy (at least for the levels i played, and compared to sonic mania)).
It's a fun kinda remix of the original sonic games, but with a new spin. It was really fun, and I enjoyed the updated style and game play.
sonic gracias por hacerme sonreir
Sice to nemá na Sonika dvojku, ale zabaví to docela dobře.
Sonic Superstars is a sort of spiritual successor to Sonic 4; the game by Arzest proposes a modernization of the classic formula, blending it with an interesting multiplayer mode. The gameplay has remained more or less unchanged for those who knew Sonic in the 90s, although there are some quite major additions that partially modify the core game mechanics. The first obvious new feature is the removal of lives, historically a staple in the platformer genre; collecting 100 rings now rewards us with a coin bearing Sonic's emblem, useful for making purchases in the virtual shop, and if you die, you will restart from the checkpoint infinitely. Another change concerns the on-screen timer, which is no longer binding; if you exceed 10 minutes, it will flash red, but the only penalty will be receiving zero points at the end of the stage. Lastly, there is a new monitor power-up featuring a magnet symbol; its function is to attract nearby rings to us (much like the electric shield, which doesn't exist here—there is only the classic shield). Not all zones are composed of two stages; a couple are transition zones and therefore only have one, while others have three base stages as well as a special one accessible by using a 'fruit'. That particular stage functions as a sort of obstacle course with vertical scrolling. Naturally, the Chaos Emeralds return, this time granting special powers that can be used while playing through the main mode. Not all powers are equally useful, though the game usually hints at which one to use during gameplay. The action is fast-paced, even if there are moments where the gameplay speed drops significantly due to certain obstacles. The stages are very well designed, though not all of them reach excellent level design: some, like Sand Sanctuary and Lagoon City, feel a bit bare, with the latter also being awkward to play due to continuous interruptions in momentum and frequent direction changes. Overall, the soundtrack is more than good with a few standout tracks such as Sand Sanctuary, Sky Temple, and Cyber Station; other tracks, however, remain a bit generic and recall past entries without reaching the extraordinary peaks heard in Sonic Mania. The boss fights are excellent, fairly challenging (at times a bit unfair), and feature consistently varied gameplay; here, resorting to the special powers of the Chaos Emeralds is strongly recommended. The game offers a good amount of replay value: once completed for the first time, it unlocks a new character named Trip, a sort of lizard capable of double-jumping and climbing walls by spinning. Trip features her own 'Story Mode' where she traverses the same stages as her companions, but the difficulty is higher due to enemy and obstacle placement, which affects the boss fights as well. Only after completing the game with Trip and obtaining all the Chaos Emeralds will you be able to face the true final boss—and that will be a painful challenge. All in all, Sonic Superstars is a well-packaged title, visually very pleasing, and offers a main campaign that will keep you occupied for many hours (the stages are huge, which is why the 10-minute time limit is gone) that can also be played with up to four players. You can also enjoy yourself in Time Attack and Battle modes, and the bonus stages are fun, with one of them leveraging the nostalgia factor. Fans of the Sega mascot will appreciate it greatly, even if it falls short of matching the unique level design of the classic 2D chapters. My score: 8.0
