Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
chido
metan presa a la gente que diseñó las boss fights de este juego, no pueden ser tan aburridas y largas, ojalá que esas personas no vuelvan a laburar nunca más en un sonic. Ni se gasten en comprar este juego, ni en descuento y mucho menos precio completo

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Game was so boring it put me to sleep
Just finished the main story - this is the best Sonic game since the original trilogy! Leaps and bounds better than the quicktime event Sonic games like Frontiers and Generations. If you're after a great traditional Sonic platforming experience modernised, this is it!
Did Arzest ever play a Sonic game before making this?
This is actually one of the best Sonic games i've ever played! The things I enjoy are the updates character models, (From things like Generations and Forces), the emerald powers you use, and bringing back classic characters that haven't made appearances in the last few years, even if they are in minor references and easter eggs. *cough* *cough* Fang the weasel Tails doll My only criticism is that the game gets harder than it has to be later on in the 100 percent playthrough in both Trip the sungazer's story, and the last story. (I won't spoil it for you). But overall, a pretty solid game! Great job, Sega! Keep on releasing bangers like this for us!
It's serviceable enough, I suppose? By far one of the worst classic sonic games in the 16-bit mainline franchise imo, and I've played all of them. My ranking: 1) Sonic 3 N' Knuckles (One ranking as they are meant to be played together; both fantastic and near perfection) 2) Sonic Mania (Great return to form and music) 3) Sonic 2 (Tails is great plus faster levels and spindash + Super Sonic) 4) Sonic CD (Flawed levels, but amazing music and visuals) 5) Sonic 1 (A solid start; has a few bad levels and lacks some content but still great) 6) Superstars 7) Sonic 4 Episode Two (Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)? 8) Sonic 4 (Wtf is this unholy carnage plaguing my dreams)? The music is.... fine. Some tracks like Speed Jungle or Bridge Island are great and feel as though they could fit into the original games like a glove. Some others, however (Like the Boss music or Press Factory) are absolute sh#t and you're genuinely better off just muting the game bro before your eardrums cosmically implode from too much cringe dosage. Maybe the bad game design was Dr. Eggman's evil plan all along to make you ragequit?! The multiplayer barely even functions. On this point they should have taken more notes outta Mario Wonder's/New Super's books, as there it works smooth as butter. The camera flings around everywhere and is too bipolar to decide on who it wants to survive and who it wants to crush with the screen boundaries. This would be less of a complaint if the multiplayer wasn't... y'know, the fricking main selling point bruh? Look back at the marketing for this game and the multiplayer was almost always front in center, which makes it even more ironic that it doesn't even work. The zones are.... sorta decent? It starts out strong with bangers like Speed Jungle and Pinball Carnival, but quickly falls off with zones that are either A) too short to be memorable as they are only one act but regular size or B) Straight up frustrating with pitfalls, padding, and bosses that take longer to beat than the heat death of the universe and/or have instakills. I'd say the level design really starts nosediving around Press Factory onwards (So does the music). The characters are very hit or miss compared to previous entries. Tails is even more op than he has ever been since they increased the size of his tail hitbox while flying, meaning that he is absolute destruction incarnate. Knuckles has been completely destroyed by the fact that he no longer gains momentum while gliding; this makes him significantly less fun to play (I can't go fast in my Sonic game bro what the fudge)? They also gave him a useless wall jump ability that is literally never explained. I didn't even know that it existed on my first playthrough. Though, Sonic is fun as always. Even if the other characters are functionally stronger, I always love choosing my boy Sonic. His dropdash is so good for maintaining flow. Also Amy is just kinda boring ngl. I can't explain it as it is just something you sorta have to experience to know, y'know. (; What am I talking about anymore? Oh yeah, the moment you've all been waiting for. The Mcguffin; the (Gulp) boss fights! Yeah I'm not gonna sugarcoat it... these are hot a#s. They are so bad that they singlehandedly ruin most zones (And sorta the game, in fact) because they just break the flow that much. Eggman has so much health and gets so much invincibility frames when you hit him that it actually feels like he has dev tools on and is just trolling you with god mode. Just play in time attack so you can actually enjoy the flipping game. Were you ragebaiting us, Sega? Easily the worst part of the game by a mile. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ........ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz.... what was I talking about again? Oh yeah, Sonic Le Superstarz. Just get the game on sale or watch a YT vid or something I dunno. There is more I could criticize but honestly idc about this game enough to write out why it sucks. Game is mid as heck bravocodo.
I never want to play this again purely for the boss fights. Don't get me wrong - the game is okay for a classic Sonic game, but the damn boss fights just drag and drag and drag on. I'm glad I finally finished it but I never need to touch it again just because the boss fights suck that bad.
Sonicfans will ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about this game but will eat trash like Frontiers. You all deserve to suffer.
