Game is good. Yeah music is different in some levels so you will either just turn the sound down, download a mod, or pay for the royalties for the original music. Unfortunately they included Sonic CD even though it is completely awful.

Wait, Sonic was always good?
As much as I love the original console games - Sonic 3 & Knuckles remains one of my favorite games 30 years after the original release, and I still have the cartridges - I do have a complaint about Origins: the removal of some of the music from the original. The replacement music is garbage compared to the original sound tracks for Carnival Night, Ice Cap, and Launch Base zones. Thank goodness for mods, I guess? The good news is I've played through Sonic, S2, S CD, and most of S3&K and haven't had any of the stability problems I've seen other people complain about in other reviews. It also works with a controller (thank goodness), though I miss my old Genesis 6-button controllers. The D-pad was better for these games.
