Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I’ve been a fan of the blue hedgehog for years, though I readily admit I haven't played every single 3D entry in the franchise. I came to Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 fairly late in life, finding Adventure 1 to be a remarkably ambitious title for its era, while its sequel was an overall improvement—if slightly overrated by its passionate fanbase. I couldn't stand Sonic '06, absolutely adored Sonic Unleashed and Generations, and viewed Sonic Colors as a mixed bag. However across all those classic 3D titles, I always had a firm, consistent stance on what worked and what didn't. Sonic Frontiers, however, leaves me in a stranger position—honestly confused on how to cleanly summarize it. -------------- Game design -------------- For over a decade, 3D Sonic games have faced criticism for relying on the same linear formulas and refusing to innovate (criticism that, while valid, often feels harsher than what's leveled at a certain rival plumber). Frontiers is SEGA's direct attempt to try shatter that mold. Giving players direct control of Sonic across massive "Open Zone" environments is a huge leap forward for the series. These islands are packed to the brim with rail-grinding lines, platforming ramps, enemy encounters, minibosses, and an endless stream of collectibles. The progression structure operates on a distinct, multi-layered loop across each island: Exploration & Portal Gear Hunting: You roam the island tackling mini-puzzles to reveal map sections and defeat roaming field minibosses to earn Portal Gears. Cyberspace Stages: You use those gears to unlock Cyberspace portals—short, linear 3D and 2D stages heavily inspired by the boost-gameplay of Generations. Completing specific objectives in these stages awards you Chaos Keys. Emerald Unlocks & Stats: You use those Chaos Keys to unlock Vaults containing Chaos Emeralds scattered around the open zone, while gathering Memory Tokens to converse with Sonic's digitalized friends and Seeds to upgrade your speed, power, and defense. Titan Showdowns: Once all Chaos Emeralds are collected, you transform into Super Sonic for a high-stakes, cinematic boss battle against the island's Titan guardian. As a fresh design direction, this open-zone formula starts off as a genuinely exhilarating approach. Moving around as Sonic has rarely felt this free. However, by the time I hit the third island, the underlying structure started to show its limits. The game loop begins to feel repetitive, and it starts overstaying its welcome as it starts to feel like a chore. Despite that fatigue, the core thrill of running at breakneck speeds, solving micro-puzzles, and clearing platforming challenges kept me engaged enough to see it through. It worked for me, but it's a format that will undoubtedly alienate players looking for a tight, curated arcade experience. ----------------------------- Visuals & World Integration ----------------------------- Visually, Frontiers is a blend of bright spots and glaring technical issues. Technologically, the lighting, weather effects, and terrain textures look impressive, but the art direction suffers from a severe stylistic mismatch. Seeing bright, cartoonish Sonic characters and floating checkerboard rails sitting inside an ultra-realistic, somber natural landscape is jarring. It often looks less like a cohesive world and more like an Unreal Engine asset showcase where game obstacles were randomly dropped from the sky. This is further hurt by prominent pop-in issues, where platforming rails and floating platforms only render when you run right up to them. -------------- Story & Lore -------------- The narrative takes a more somber, atmospheric approach than recent entries. Sonic, Tails, and Amy are sucked into a wormhole while investigating the Chaos Emeralds, leaving Sonic's friends trapped in a digitalized "cyber-state." Sonic must traverse these mysterious, ancient islands collecting Memory Tokens to project his friends back into reality, while uncovering the tragic history of the extinct alien civilization known as the Ancients. Meanwhile, Eggman's new AI creation, Sage, constantly interferes to block Sonic's path to protect the island's secrets. It’s a slightly darker, more lore-focused plot than usual, but ultimately it functions as a lightweight backdrop that doesn't leave a massive impression. --------------------- Soundtrack & Audio --------------------- Where the game undeniably excels is its soundtrack—it is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. During free-roam exploration, the ambient tracks are soft, melancholic, and deeply atmospheric, carrying a cinematic warmth on par with a Studio Ghibli film. Cyberspace levels flip the switch to intense, high-energy electronic and synthwave tracks. Then come the Titan boss fights, which blow the roof off with heavy, explosive vocal metal tracks that while not reach the same height, do offer the same adrenaline rush of action hack and slash games like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. ------- Verdict ------- At the end of the day, Sonic Frontiers is a slow burn that relies heavily on repetition, but I can't deny that I had fun with it. Running through Cyberspace, tackling open-zone platforming puzzles, and engaging in those wildly cinematic Super Sonic Titan battles delivered enough genuine entertainment to outweigh the jank. Recommending it isn't simple. If you are a fan of 3D Sonic—particularly Generations and Colors—and enjoy high-speed platforming, there is a lot to appreciate here, especially if you snag it on sale. Just make sure to take your time and space out your play sessions; if you try to rush through it, the repetitive loop will burn you out long before the end credits. Final Score: 7.8/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is the worst game i have ever played, ♥♥♥♥ this game.
gud
I enjoyed the story and i thought the gameplay was well implamented. The graphics and animations wern't great even for a 4 year old game but if you can look past that then i would say it's defenatly worth a play through or two.
