Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I usually review games based on how they make me feel. But I don't know with this one. It's fun to explore the map, and the enemies are fairly easy to deal with. But then come the boss fights. Those are a matter of trial and error (learning how to counter each attack) and a bunch of frustration. Once you crack the code, they become pretty easy though. But the way to get there isn't all that fun. Then all of a sudden the whole game becomes impossible because you get stuck and have already been all over the map and explored everything, but cannot find a way forward. That's when you watch a youtube video and realize that you missed one of those "warp tunnels" (I don't know what else to call them - those that you use your lantern to enter). It isn't marked on the map, which is fairly annoying. Having played Doom The Dark Ages recently (the easiest of the new ones, in my opinion), where the shield parry reacts INSTANTLY to your button presses, makes me think the combat in Somber Echoes is a bit janky. The shield doesn't appear when I want it to, and I take unnecessary damage all the time. It took me a while to learn that you cannot attack and parry too quickly in succession. Add to that that you can get stuck on bosses and other enemies and can't "lantern away" when you are in a tight situation, because those damned hit boxes... (Annoying). The setting is pretty interesting though. It's a mix of the ancient Greek and Roman mythology combined with science fiction. It's weird, and I like weird. I guess it's one way to stay creative in a world where all ideas have already been explored. Finally, the story. As it always is for me, since I have ADHD, I can't follow a story unless it's extremely pedagogical like a Hollywood movie. So I've not understood the story properly, and will probably finish the game without knowing what it was all about. It's something about a meeting with your sister that goes south, and then something is out of balance and there are monsters everywhere. It's a fantastic plot! Promise.

great gameplay i didnt pay focus to story at all :D so i cant tell even though it have 1 difficulty i cant say its hard nor easy, hardest boss took me 10-15 tries
I rarely find games to enjoy right from the beginning, but this one stick to me. It's really, really great and the game mechanics are awesome and fun. No bugs, fluid gameplay, great graphics, good story! GJ! I strongly recommend it!
piece of beautiful ♥♥♥♥!
Review After 100%
Brilliant and almost revolutionary traversal mechanics. Interesting story, detailed fantasy–sci-fi blend environment, lovely main theme, and it's all story-centric. It's a good time. I recommend it.
Great visuals and atmosphere, welcome and unique movement abilities, and pretty decent story, overall. Platforming challenges were mostly average, as far as enjoyment, though found by far the weak point of the game were the boss battles--their challenge was just about right, but didn't really find them or their mechanics very enjoyable. Far from game breaking, but mostly subpar in my opinion.
8.5 amazing
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The art design was stellar, the combat fun, and I even liked the story (which is very rare for Metrodvanias). I've heard complaints about the fast travel system, and while I see what people mean, it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. I have one, petty complaint: I do like trying to get all the achievements, but the amount of grinding necessary to get enough currency to upgrade all weapons is truly excessive. Again, I didn't need the upgrades to fight the final boss, I just wanted them for the achievements. I should have let it go, because I managed to make myself like the game less by grinding.
