Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Forever Alone
Solo's a cute little game but there is a fatal and known bug, as you can see on the Steam forums, where if you exit the game and reopen it, your save file will corrupt: the game will play without sound, your inventory will be reset to the beginning of the game, and you will no longer have access to the item you need to complete puzzles. There is, as best as I can tell, no solution to this -- you simply have to restart the game. I am not sure if this affects everyone who exits and reopens the game, but it looks like it's been an issue since 2021 and the developers do not appear to be in business anymore as they have not responded to threads here or attempts to contact them off Steam.
Solo is a fairly pretentious third person puzzle platformer that is visually quite lovely, but let down by fairly lackluster gameplay, tragically lame writing, and an absolutely brutal bug that will make you lose inventory items if you save the game and then come back to it later, forcing you to do the whole game in one bloody go. Positives: -Graphics- I like lo-poly third person games, so this is right up my alley. Nothing spectacular, but these graphics get the job done, and the islands are aesthetically quite pretty. -Gameplay- The puzzles are decent, if a little repetitive. Meh: -Music- Not atrocious, but pretty ho-hum -Jank- Some of the movement is more than a little janky, which can make moving about the islands and solving the puzzles a little more difficult than normal. Negatives: -Writing- It's facile, emo-drivel....look, I love emotional games, and I don't mind getting onion-eyes from some powerfully evoked feelings in a game, but this is just hackneyed, banal, and lame. It doesn't make me consider and reflect upon my relationships and how I've dealt with my romantic partners over the years. It just makes me roll my eyes and fight my gag-reflex. -Bugs- There is a critical bug that causes inventory items to disappear after saving the game and then restarting it later. I lost almost two hours of playtime on my first attempt to play the game because when I restarted the next night, I had lost the music notes, the parachute, the magic staff....almost everything. So, I started over, played for just under an hour, saved and quit to go get a beverage....and when I restarted, it had happened again! So, I literally was forced to go from 9:00 p.m. till bloody near midnight just so I could finish it in one run. So, totally NOT recommended!
Game is bugged and literally unplayable unless played in a single sitting. Judging from community posts, I am not the only person to have this problem. I quit out of the game to take a break, and when I came back, there was no sound and the conversation I needed to have to progress causes the game to freeze. The game itself is....fine. The puzzles are pretty simple and the narrative, such as it is, has some potential but never spends enough time on any one thing to really provoke much more than superficial reflection. Based on achievement descriptions, I suspect I was about 2/3 of the way through a bug destroyed my ability to progress. I don't think I'll be trying again.
As others have said, the game itself is good. However, the major bug where items are lost and can't be regained without restarting means that I can't recommend it.
Good little game ruined for never solved gamebreaking bugs. Avoid.
Not very engaging, or introspective. Has a cute aesthetic, but the gameplay is severely lacking. I assume it was made for very young kids? Moving blocks around with pseudo-deep questions and thoughts from colorful abstract entities.
the save system is broken, when you leave and exit to the desktop, you can load your save, but the inventory is empty, all ingame items are gone, you stuck. or you want to sit on the bench with a ghost, to lower a bridge, with reload, there is no ghost, you can sit down, but then you can nothing do, you have to alt f4 the game - last patch from 2018, developer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. btw. when you want to make a picture of a fish, hey its broken too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . the fish only jumps one time, so you have a exit to the menu and continue loop, to let them respawn.
Game is completely broken, controller suddenly stops working from time to time and you need to restart the game. And today, I've found that sound in the game disappeared, and I cannot fix the problem. I've tried changing several sound settings on my computer, reinstalling the game, restarting the computer, etc. but nothing is solving the problem. I've seen in a discussion that people is having the same issue, and that they have contacted developers and they won't answer because they've abandoned the game. I want a refund because it's impossible to play the game. It's a pitty, because I was really enjoying the game: the visuals and the music are nice, and it's very relaxing to play this game, it makes you think about many things running in your life. The puzzles are very simple and repetitive.
Took me several attempts to be able to even get in the game because it kept detecting random controller inputs from an unplugged controller. After that, I ran into the same bug others mentioned: I lost my items on reloading my save making this save unable to progress any further. From what I saw in the game, I wouldn't really recommend it anyways. The low-poly and indie aesthetic only seems to exist to cover up the game's lack of polish. Controls feel clunky, animations are stiff, UI is awkward, dialogue feels preachy, and the puzzles that I've seen so far are dead simple.
