A buggy mess with very little to do with skill or strategy and everything to do with luck. Dev: If you cannot replicate the results replaying with the exact same settings and units and abilities, there is a bug somewhere that you haven't found. As it is, if you can keep the mouse from bugging out and not working, or losing a unit because your flag shrinks for no reason, you don't win based on anything other than luck. Nothing is repeatable. Speeding up the game actually gives you an advantage as the towers and enemy units miss a lot more, but even then a rock from a cannon can hit 5 or 6 units ahead of you and wipe out your wave for no reason. Just junk. I am shocked by the positive reviews on this.
Not sure what the point of this is. I'm on easy difficulty and have max upgrades that I can get before they require some new resource. I click to invade some map that's rated as easy, get slaughtered many many times by aimbot villagers who can reliably shoot a skeleton dog that's running 25mph. I've changed my tactics multiples times, changed which routes I chose, which upgrades I select for destroying buildings, etc. I've tried other maps too. At the end of the day. I'm stuck. Game rates difficult mode as easy and map as easy, but it's nothing less than nearly impossible. I can't help but wonder if there is a luck/RNG factor I don't know about that's screwing me over. Anyway unless you want your time spent in the most frustrating way possible pulling your hair trying to figure out why "easy" means "impossible" and second guessing and scrutinizing every action you take, this game is not for you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is riddled with opportunities to soft lock your progress and you're just stuck in this boring endless loop of skipping weeks until you get a rebellion and then beating the same level you've beat 4 times over just to get more essence to get the next perk on the tree. Can't even reset the tree without spending so much essences you're almost better just starting a new save. Save your time and money, just skip this one.
Fun indie project. Played this because I saw Real Civil Engineer playing it on Youtube. We are the attackers! Definitly a fun twist. Dev is still working on it and doing update so new stuff might come in :)
It's boring. I don't think the developer tested any User Experience (UX). The UI shows very little information. There are no shortcuts or any possibility to map keys. The resource system is bad, if you spend your basic resource early, you cannot upgrade late game troops. It's sluggish and frustrating.
While I like the premise, the gamedesign feels not really satisfying for me. The units feel unbalanced and most of the gameplay is repetitive trial and error, as the range of options is pretty limited.
Gameplay is alright nothing spectacular. Riddled with bugs that make the game either unplayable or just an overall headache to try and play. Can't even reset the perk tree
This is yet another (reverse) tower defense video game that fails to understand pacing and forces the player to farm on easy mode for upgrades in order to face later levels, regardless of their difficulty setting. Despite the game being centered around necromancy, it is more like a zerg rush without the numbers and a heavy dependence on healing and buffing your units to survive long enough to destroy a building without dying to numerous projectiles coming their way, from archers to catapults (all of which cannot be destroyed and altered in any way). On a side note, there are various skins locked behind holidays, meaning that it has to be a certain time of the month to unlock them, which tells me that this game may as well be on a mobile game storefront if it is going to have terrible pacing, dependency on farming levels, disgusting pixel graphics, and audio looping glitches that are the icing on the cake. In total, this product costs $1.50, which is a reasonable price by mobile gaming standards.
I really love this game. I find it very satisfying on easy difficulty but playing the game on any difficulty above that is quite frustrating.
a short but fun game! the concept is great hopefully the developer can expand on this game and genre in their future projects
