Take the Infernal Throne in this hellish turn-based grand strategy game. The Prince of Darkness has vanished, leaving Archfiends to conspire: muster your legions while intoning dark sorceries, devilish schemes, and machiavellian plots. Who will be the new ruler of Hell and ascend the Throne?

Nice game with an even nicer soundtrack
Very good, very interesting world, fixes the most egregious balance problems of the original game (it still feels wildly unfair at times but in more of a mean-spirited and devious way you can learn and adapt to than in the sense of "wow they really didn't think this through" kind of way. The infernal political system feels very well written and almost (for lack of a better word), authentic. (yes I know Paradise Lost is fanfic). That is, it kind of sells you on how it's supposed to work and how boundlessly evil beings who don't trust each other and are constantly at each other's throats still manage to strike a balance between infighting and working together. Because you're (in theory) all supposed to be at war with the almighty, there are strict rules in place to limit infighting to tributary-extortion and the occasional skirmish over just who should be extorting who. But it's kind of a funny reverse-Game-of-Thrones scenario where the status quo is preserved because if you ever STOP fighting amongst yourselves and unite against your common enemy, you'll get smited and everyone's understandably scared crapless of running out of excuses not to fight God. Gameplay wise, it works and you spend half your (painfully) limited time and resources preparing for battles you'll never fight (because you'll win them- you WILL have to fight the battles your neighbors think you'd lose) and the other half worming your way through the head-to-desk esoteric rules of the demonic bureaucracy (as an IRL deep-state bureaucrat, for the record, hell seems to be even worse about it then we are). For instance, even the archfiend whose superpower is that everyone's too scared of him to strictly enforce the rules restricting open war still has to spend a turn threatening the conclave into getting the heck out of his way before he can actually go on his rampage, and even then, you better be ready to make the best of the VERY short rampage because even he can't get away with that for long. Still, if that doesn't sound awesome; the good news is you're still a demon and rules are made to be broken. Any time you want to go rogue and give the finger to the rest of creation (you're trying to fill Satan's shoes, after all), you can! The game constantly dares you to, and wont punish you; it'll only punish you for not being a bad enough dude to get away with it. The lore is fun too. It's more than a few disjointed Dante quotes. Between the legions, the artifacts, the fiends, and everything at else, there's a lot of tantalizing scraps of worldbuilding, mostly as excerpts from some fictional texts apparently written by demonic tabloid reporters. Speaking of which, while the game is excellent at being just what it is, an RPG in this setting would hit like crack.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Top game
It's well done, and very fun, i'm also bad at it and lose.
bad
Okay, after playing this game A LOT, i must say that it is one of the greatest strategies i have ever played. Theme? Preserved very well, is consistent and visible everywhere. Graphics are great. One thing i miss is some kind of mystery around lucifer/satan (the original ruler) that we get clues to on the cards or descriptions. But that's just flavor. Community? Competetive, experienced, creative and mostly welcoming, while not an ideal company for a beginner, one can truly learn quickly what it means to make a name for yourself in Hell. Sadly for now we don't have that many players so you can get a game every hour of every day, but join the official discord and there will be plenty of occasions to make heads roll. Strategy-wise? Complicated, unforgiving, tricky. I have over 200 hours, mostly multiplayer, and i still believe i don't know certain small elements. What about different ways of play? While every game is different and you can choose from many different boosts called relicts before the game starts, as well as pick different archfiends, you may end up doing almost exactly the same some games. I wish archfiend abilities were more impactful. I wouldn't say it becomes boring tho, the true challenge comes from the players you're up against in multiplayer. Updates? Well, that's i think Solium's biggest downside. Updates are cool WHEN they are released. Developers are very responsive, but the frequency leaves a lot to be desired. My honest opinion? 8.5/10. The game is great and you should 100% give it a try if you're a strategy fan. Good luck and see you on the fields of the never ending abyss!
Muy divertido y original, difícil a veces, pero eso esta bueno.
It is a god game, i bit hard at the beginning thou. I feels like a board game on PC. The more you play it the better it gets. Andromalius is a good starting fiend. I recommend it.
Clever game.
When I initially got this game I was kind of put off by the tutorial. Belial (one of the archfiends you can play as but also the guide during the tutorial) gives a pseudo exhaustive intro to the game that at times feels overwhelming. I put the game down about 20% of the way into the tutorial and didn't pick it back up for about 6 months. This time I persevered and I can honestly say that the game is very fun and pretty easy to understand once you get past the tutorial. I think this game is pretty underrated, and if you enjoy grand strategy or civ like games, this game is gonna be the right pick for you.
