Take the Infernal Throne in this hellish turn-based grand strategy game. The Prince of Darkness has vanished, leaving Archfiends to conspire: muster your legions while intoning dark sorceries, devilish schemes, and machiavellian plots. Who will be the new ruler of Hell and ascend the Throne?

Game is good, very creative and fun to play. But pricing is completely off and that's why there are usually 50 people playing it any time. Don't expect to find a good lobby of MP nowadays unless you convince your friends to pay the absurd price, but you could get more table-board game with the same amount. Devs even said that development was close, but they did release a major free update recently; I think they should change prices to something more realistic to what the game is delivering.
Complex but really fun game Fun fact : it was the original inspiration for Armello, and now League of Geeks remastered this game. Poetic

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very frustrating and random game. Stuck with it in my steam library now after one run.

I've been playing Solium Infernum with my board game group since release, and I cherish every miserable, bastardly turn of it. We've mostly kept up a rate of a game per month, and I even got an online board game group into it. I love it. It hates me, certainly, but I love it. A lot of people who like turn-based strategy and 4x games didn't buy this because they don't want to (or can't) get a group together to play multiplayer, which is what this is designed for. Multiplayer-focused turn-based strategy games almost always seem like a doomed enterprise because of this. And yet somehow, here we have Solium Infernum, a wonderful, strange, cruel, arbitrary, mercilessly opaque game. I don't know how long the servers will be up or how many more moments of genuinely incandescent fury my friends and I can provoke in each other, but I hope the small SI community persists for a long time. I remember playing the demo of the original game and marveling at its bizarre aesthetic and design, and I remember my jaw dropping to the floor when the remake was announced. What a time to be alive. If you're on the fence or you think you might have a shot at getting a crew together to play this, please give it a shot!
A fantastic game that just got a great update. A must for all who like strategy games with depth. You can play again and again, and two games are never the same.
This is such an underrated gem of a game. Really goes far above and beyond what I ever expected and it's been a blast playing this game. If I could only convince a million people to buy this game, just so we could get even more down the line!
Really good strategy game that rewards manipulating your enemies more than acual conquest. A rarity in the genre
This game is boring AF. They say it shines when played in multiplayer, but since I do not...it is as fun as listening to a chess match over the radio.
Love Love this game - i have 9 simultaneous asynchronous games on the go and spend approx 20 mins every day making my moves. I love trying to anticipate what my opponents are doing and seeing if i can outsmart them. i don't agree with negative criticism that says it's too random - the randomness means that you have to plan around the possibility of things happening - you might lose your strongest army so you need to ensure you have other means to win - whether that's creating more infamy, or taking over pandemonium, or secretly putting forward a puppet. The small number of moved but the high number of possible actions per move is the whole point. I only wish there were more people playing - i'd like to try a synchronous game.
