About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I somehow enjoy it more than BG3. It is less messy, the fights are very enjoyable and the game is contained (meaning you do not have endless quests or solutions to solve them). The graphics for the characters are ugly and the cinmeatics remind me of Dragon Age Origins but the maps are actually very nice. I am only 12h in so we will see if I still think the same after 50h.
First, let me acknowledge that you should take this review with a grain of salt, at least for the time being. As I'm only 3 hours into it. I promise to return and update after >20 hours. I have been pleasantly surprised by Solasta so far. I bought the game expecting to like it because it's a CRPG based on Dungeons and Dragons and that's my jam. But I'm surprised by how much I've enjoyed the opening. You can see the developers worked hard to make this feel like a TTRPG D&D session. Little things like your party meeting in a pub. The tutorial quests being used to tell the other party members how you got there. The time travel over map counting off ration resources and spawning random encounters. All great stuff that made me feel like I'm playing with some friends around the table. The graphics are solid. The writing isn't groundbreaking, but it is serviceable Fantasy fare. It certainly doesn't make you bleed from your ears as some games I've seen recently. It's well voiced and I like how you have the option of choosing which character responds in conversation. And if they have options to persuade, bluff, or intimidate. My one negative I would say is that the camera and camera angles can be janky at times. However, this maybe user error. When I update this review later, I'll let you know if indeed the camera needs work, or I just needed to get good at manipulating it. In short, if you like TTRPGs, CRPGs, Fantasy settings, or D&D specifically, I think you'll enjoy this game. If you like none of those things, well this probably isn't the game for you. But, if you try it anyway, I hope it surprises you in a good way, the way it did me.
This game is a little bit rough, but the underlying fundamentals of it are good enough that I can safely recommend it, with the important caveat that it does have some frustrating aspects. Namely, the movement and camera are not as smooth and refined as Baldur's Gate 3. I strongly recommend you bind the key to select all characters to something like your side mouse button, because this game has a funny way of constantly detaching from your characters. And there's no way of swapping movement styles or anything like that, so get used to it. Also, the combat encounters are not quite as balanced as Baldur's Gate; they really throw the book at you in this game, and trust me, it's not nearly as cool in practice as it sounds in theory (although to be fair, you can customize the rules, but I prefer to play games the way the developers intended) So suffice to say, Solasta is indie Baldur's Gate and it very much plays like it. But the things it does right are fun, and it scratches that all-important RPG itch.
Although the controls can sometimes be janky, if you're a fan of isometric turn based rpgs i would highly recommend this game, whilst it's no replacement for playing dnd it certainly scratches that itch
great game
