About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

Reviews
They give you like 12 options for something (backgrounds or languages for example), even with in the paid DLC, and then only 5 of them have any effect on the stories & world. So you can either pick from a small amount & limit your creativity so it matters, or you can take the other 'flavor' options & get denied any impact of your choices. Definitely could have planned ahead to have every option matter. Also for something based off D&D missing some of the core classes feels really incomplete. Wish I'd known it would be left in such an incomplete feeling state before purchase. Fortunately the user generated content can make up for some of this. Wait for a sale & look for mods too.
Great fun as a group of 4 in multiplayer, manages to capture that DND experience.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you like playing D&D 5e then this is a MUST HAVE title -- especially in multiplayer and with fan-created adventures and campaigns.
Mediocre at best in all of its aspects, aside from combat - a rather faithful rendition of 5e rules, with all of their strengths and flaws. The most basic kind of story, terrible fantasy naming, weak dialogues and models so ugly they make you wish the game stayed in a fixed isometric perspective. Classes locked behind paid DLC. But all that aside we had fun, so thumbs down wouldn't be fair. Also, the play was bug-free and the co-op worked flawlessly, which, as Owlcat Games taught me, isn't something you can take for granted even in 2026, so, thumbs up! Plus it has a very cool workshop feature allowing you to make your own adventures.

Story is bad, graphics are bad, action is bad. Combat is not so good. UI sucks so much. Fights in 3D may sound like fun but they're not especially when you have columns everywhere and you always find out too late that you don't have line of sight. But of course NPC don't have that problem and can shoot you from a mile away and through walls. Also there are too many fights. When you're doing a turn based rpg you make them count. You don't throw fights that are so easy that your fighter can one shot everybody. And let's not talk about having plenty of useless NPC helping you by making 2 useless attacks per turn (or doing two whooping damage). Just because I like long games does not mean I enjoy random encounters with 4 goblins or 3 skeletons plus one wight. Waste of time. Almost forgot the pathfinding. It's so bad that sometimes you"ll go one way but if you want to go back your characters can't find a way. Almost got stuck one time. Thank god I had spider climb ready on my caster or I would have been unable to continue.
Very very fun. The most like actual tabletop D&D game I have played so far. Would recommend!
The janky, more expensive, DLC heavy version of temu BG. Didn't get a chance to play much when I first got this, coming back, everything GRAYED out when I try to play, begging me for more money. Doesn't give me hope for the next.
