About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

Good adaptation from the tabletop to the digital space. UI is clean and easily maneuvered. Story is interesting and invites multiple playthroughs. If on sale, definitely get the DLC, too.

For a D&D game at this price range, I’d give it an 8/10 (with BG3 as a 10/10 benchmark). But when rated against the whole platform, I can only award it a 7/10 at most. The story is pretty lackluster, yet it genuinely works as a digital single-player online D&D kick-in-the-door dungeon crawl. Players can get a solid grasp of D&D’s core mechanics through this game—yet it’s exactly the soul of role-playing that’s missing. All in all, I’m supportive of it; I’ve already bought the sequel too. Here’s hoping we get a flawless D&D CRPG experience with the third installment in the future!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great DnD game. Mainly tactical battles with character advancement. It is a linear campaign but I am enjoying it. Game is also a nice challenge.
Good D&D game. Good story full of myystery.
Rpgzin massa, só falta MUITO dinheiro, parece um jogo de ps3, mas assim bon demá.
Very bloody good, best AD&D conversion I have ever played Highly recommenden from a 66 year old D&D vet.
The cutscene graphics aren't the best and the story is just serviceable, but where this game shines is in using the D&D 5e open license for its game mechanics. The combat encounters really do feel like playing the tabletop game but in video game format, and if you're familiar with Baldur's Gate 3 you'll probably get the hang of this one very quickly since they're based on the same system and, though there are some differences, they do resemble each other a lot. I'm currently about halfway through finding the eight gems for the crown and I've done the four origin side quests, so there's still a fair amount of game to go but I'm having a lot of fun. There's a few bugs here and there but nothing gamebreaking and I'd say this is quite the value for a game I got on sale for about 4 bucks. As far as I know Solasta II is a vast improvement on everything in this one, so I'm definitely going to play that one when it comes out. Edit: Turns out the story fizzles out at the end and instead of finding the final three gems like you did for the previous five, something different happens and you're forced into the final stretch of the game, which was a bit disappointing because I expected a bit more detail. Also, that final sequence was a bit annoying because I gained levels but couldn't level up because there's nowhere to rest. I'm now starting one of the other campaigns and I appreciate that they allow you to import the characters from the main story and keep their levels and gear, or create new characters if you wish. All in all, there's a lot of value in this game if you buy it on sale, especially since it allows you to create your own campaigns.
remind me not to poop in that hole.
10 hours in, this game has had me literally 1) laugh out loud, and 2) say out loud "holy sh*t, that's awesome."
