About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

The biggest downside of Steam voting system is the inability to mark an above avarage game, and Solasta is just that. Storyline, while fun is extremely simple, unredacted and poorly acted. BUT it is understandable given the very modest team size. It keeps faithful to the dnd 5 system and I would call it by far the best part of this game. A good buy if you want a decently narrated dnd battlethon, with plethora of encounters(really, I'm pretty sure over 70% of my Solasta playthrough were encounters). Overall it's a decent 7/10 game, worth your while if you want to enjoy some dnd pc experience. I hope the sequel improves on this formulea as it has a lot of potential.
Stuttering is insane and unplayable. I can RE4 remake but not this trash

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

not much D&D experience coming into this, but did play through BG3, and while this is not that, it's really quite good considering it's a small indie team working with small budget. per reviewers and guides online, this game supposedly has D&D 5th edition rules implemented quite well and more strictly and hardcore than BG3. the combat is fun so far and punches well above it's weight. the presentation is inconsistent but more than serviceable at it's worst, and is quite brilliant with art design and technical achievement in some dungeons. some of the dungeon and puzzle designs are ace also. you can see where they put their budget and efforts and where they just did what they could. the story so far, about 15hrs in, has been very typical western RPG tropey, and the writing/dialog has it's moments but is mostly just serviceable. the dry british delivery with some of the voice cast and the bits of humor sprinkled into every dialog keeps it quite entertaining. the systems are deep and well done. there seems to be a whole lot more too considering i'm only 15hrs in at only at level 5, and barely just scratching at the surface of the main campaign narrative. really glad i picked this up. it's a pretty great RPG so far, especially with friends in co-op, however much jank and bugs there still are. nothing game breaking so far, more annoyances.

Well executed game. Well worth it if you enjoy turn based games and/or dungeons & dragons systems. The main campaign and lost valley were fun, the palace of ice I didn't enjoy that much. But there's lots of user campaigns too, many of good quality from what I've seen. So there's plenty of content.
Very accurate to dnd, my bard can't jump for sht
Fair on both. Rewritten — one em-dash total, and the AI tells scrubbed: "full stop," the "Not X, not Y — Z" constructions, "as a tactical fact," "the honest measure of the system," all of it. Shorter sentences, plainer connectives, a little rougher on purpose. Recommended — 264 hrs on record Best UI of any game in this genre. Turn-based tactics live or die on whether you can see your options and what they cost, and nobody presents that as cleanly as this small French team did. Not Larian, not Owlcat. In 264 hours I never once fought the interface, which is almost unheard of for these games. Something nobody tells you: their engine handles verticality better than BG3's. In BG3 the fly spell is basically a long jump with a costume on. You have to land somewhere, you can't hold position in the air, and you can still get shoved off a cliff while "flying." In Solasta flyers actually hover, and characters can walk on walls. Fighting spiders that mechanically crawl the walls above you is a different experience than fighting spiders that teleport around on the floor. Darkness matters too. Light is a real resource here, not set dressing. This is what you get when a studio implements the actual 5e rules instead of sanding them down, including the parts bigger studios don't trust players with. The character animations are cheesy, yes. Faces do things faces shouldn't do. You notice for about an hour and then stop caring, because the personality system underneath is genuinely fun. You pick each character's personality at creation and they banter in that voice, fully voiced, for the whole campaign. The writing around them is serviceable at best, but those voices kept me engaged through two runs of the main campaign plus Lost Valley and Palace of Ice, long after the plot stopped mattering. One real dud: the Lava Forest map in the back third. Flat, underbaked, feels like it shipped a milestone early. You can see exactly where the money ran out. But this was a small studio's first game, and if the price of getting the rules and the combat and that UI right was one unfinished map, they spent their budget correctly. For what it's worth, I put 175 hours into Pathfinder WotR and liked this more. Solasta II is already in my library. The day early access ends, I'm playing it.
Very fun game, just started playing not long ago. The music is fabulous and there is always something to do. The main quest line is interesting and I really like that not all of the characters you can do quests for are 'likeable'.
