Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.17/day in the week to Aug 5 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Lead humanity from its infantile cradle to supreme solar dominance in Solar Nations 2, the grand strategy game where the Solar System becomes an intricate battlefield.
Build colonies on distant worlds, develop revolutionary technologies, and decide whether humanity will unite among the stars… or destroy itself in nuclear fire.
The nine planets of Sol are waiting to be conquered. Each one offers unique advantages, dangers, and strategic possibilities:
Mercury offers the closest access to the Sun.
Venus presents a high-risk, high-reward terraforming gambit.
Earth is rich in population and industry, but divided by old rivalries.
Mars boasts valuable resources and proximity to the Asteroid Belt.
Jupiter’s moons each provide unique opportunities for colonization and conflict.
Saturn holds a wealth of rare resources waiting to be discovered.
The Ice Giants present strange research opportunities at the edge of civilization.
The Kuiper Belt is a gateway to the unknown.
And beyond Neptune, the ninth world waits.
Solar Nations 2 allows great breadth and depth at once.
In war, you command vast space fleets to conquer the planets, while also intricately customizing each vessel to fit a role of your choosing.
In peace, you carefully navigate the political intrigues of an interplanetary society, while constructing great projects which will stand as testimonies of your greatness to future generations.
The civilizations of mankind are not divided by borders alone. They are divided by worldviews, ambitions, myths, fears, and rival visions of what humanity should become.
Every nation believes it has a unique claim on the future. Every ideology carries its own sense of righteousness. As mankind spreads beyond Earth, these old struggles do not disappear, instead they expand across the void itself: becoming greater in some ways and in others remaining the same.
Combine armies, aircraft, ships, spacecraft, and strategic weapons into an unstoppable war machine, with each force playing a distinct role in the great game of civilizations.
In Solar Nations 2, you are the master of your nation's destiny. Everything which happens within your borders is something you preside over - there is no need to rely on AI help. Each mechanic is simple enough to understand while also offering strategic depth to ensure there is a wide variation of choices, where there isn't always a best solution.
Create alternate histories, future scenarios, custom nations, borders, flags, populations, and political setups with the built-in scenario editor. Share your creations through Steam Workshop, download community scenarios, and reshape the Solar System alone or with friends.

Fun game
It's very raw and user-unfriendly at the moment, but the concept is good. We'll see what this game becomes in several years.
This game does a good job as a world simulator, and the 2025 scenario gives a good starting point for "what if" play styles. It is rough around the edges, but I have had no crashes or game breaking bugs. It is complicated and it is hard to make sense of what is really going on, but it is fun (if you like micro-managing). Bonus points for the game because people are crying that their country isn't better. But what other game would let you have "Yankee culture" stormtroopers from Ohio rampaging across the solar system... Now for the finer points- Pros- 1. It is rare for a game to use real-world categories and names to accurately describe how the world works. As a sim game, there are a lot of "un-savory" options like nuking people and biological warfare. 2. The game does not shy away from modern concepts like - "giving power to Bureaucrats" and the cost of relying on welfare. it gives you the levers to pull. 3. The scope of the game is what got me interested. It is interplanetary. I hope the devs keep working on this game and expands features. There is so many possibilities. 4. The price is right for the game. You kind of have to keep it in mind while playing because it is rough. If this game was $20-$30 I would have given it a negative review. Cons (I will try to keep this list to things I feel are do-able) - 1. Despite how complicated the game is, it simplifies too many things. a) The economy. The economy needs work for realism. The game revolves around taxes and not production (creating things). Production facilities are only use for bonuses or as large-scale prerequisites (or for taxes). For example, you don't make a second steel plant because your industries need more steel. You would only do because it generates taxes. You technically don't need more than one steel plant to travel to the stars. The game abstracts sooooo much and just calls it money. I think there should be a "steel" prerequisite on most or all buildings and you should have a pool of all of your steel production. I could write a book about the economy, but I will sum it up as this - the game makes it so you don't HAVE to build anything. You just need tax money, so you build things to generate tax money. ... I have a lot more to write, but I have to cut it short I will come back and write more ...

Sloppy, click intensive and definetly needs some work, as there are a lot of bugs but i enjoyed it. seeing "damage to planet" as a concept for doing an airstrike is funny. it also seems to be politically neutral, which is fun, it portrays everyone equally silly. big wars are fun, and silly with the ai readily throwing billions at your entrenched units. the bugs are a issue though, if you dont unpuppet states quick enough theyre stuck as puppets permanently. you can accidentally overbuild infrastructure in a colony through the popup and leaving debt in a short timeframe. also you cant kill your own civillians with a bioweapon when targeting your own region. and the pop-up for targeting a region you own with a unit that does no strategic damage needs to be removed, have it pop up only for strategic damage. there is also a need for more or better info on tooltips, like knowing what research is a prerequisite rather then just telling me i dont have the prerequisite for example. the army recruitment also needs some work, its so annoying that there is no fine tune proper control over it even with the advanced recruitment window, if i type in 50k it still decides i wanted 51K also info on how many planes i can fit on a carrier unit of a certain size would be nice. it also needs some optimization, later in the game it starts running slow. and a popup so i can see where a nuclear bomb has been dropped, instead of only a loud bang and then no info about who dropped it where. it'd be fun to see what the ai is getting up to. but, even with all that this game has the indie solo dev passion and it shows, its good old sloppy indie fun.
Game is great, not bloated and the dev currently updates pretty regulary. I hope its more clear how air force and navy works and fine tunning here and there but the core of the game is good hooping it just get better from here
While early access and rough around the edges, this game has serious promise. The flavour is fun and fitting the setting. The systems are intricate enough to survive some deep analysis and strategising but not enough to be opaque or need detailed guides and Youtube playthroughs. Its a grand strategy game that I can sorta take easy (compared to Paradox) and play.
want hoi4 but in space? try this game! seems complicated at first, but as you understand learn it more and understand it, it's really fun lots of hidden mechanics and intricate details that make it worthwhile. So many formables, research, so many ways to use military, all by a single dev. Still very buggy in many places, and could definitely use refining in many areas, such as some currencies like stability being too predominant. Regardless, for a single-dev game, it's great, and has good potential. 9/10, would recommend.
This is so much potential like Realpolitik III

I took too much debt and it eventually lead to AI satan awakening, what did the dev mean by this...
