Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.17/day in the week to Aug 5 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Lead humanity from its infantile cradle to supreme solar dominance in Solar Nations 2, the grand strategy game where the Solar System becomes an intricate battlefield.
Build colonies on distant worlds, develop revolutionary technologies, and decide whether humanity will unite among the stars… or destroy itself in nuclear fire.
The nine planets of Sol are waiting to be conquered. Each one offers unique advantages, dangers, and strategic possibilities:
Mercury offers the closest access to the Sun.
Venus presents a high-risk, high-reward terraforming gambit.
Earth is rich in population and industry, but divided by old rivalries.
Mars boasts valuable resources and proximity to the Asteroid Belt.
Jupiter’s moons each provide unique opportunities for colonization and conflict.
Saturn holds a wealth of rare resources waiting to be discovered.
The Ice Giants present strange research opportunities at the edge of civilization.
The Kuiper Belt is a gateway to the unknown.
And beyond Neptune, the ninth world waits.
Solar Nations 2 allows great breadth and depth at once.
In war, you command vast space fleets to conquer the planets, while also intricately customizing each vessel to fit a role of your choosing.
In peace, you carefully navigate the political intrigues of an interplanetary society, while constructing great projects which will stand as testimonies of your greatness to future generations.
The civilizations of mankind are not divided by borders alone. They are divided by worldviews, ambitions, myths, fears, and rival visions of what humanity should become.
Every nation believes it has a unique claim on the future. Every ideology carries its own sense of righteousness. As mankind spreads beyond Earth, these old struggles do not disappear, instead they expand across the void itself: becoming greater in some ways and in others remaining the same.
Combine armies, aircraft, ships, spacecraft, and strategic weapons into an unstoppable war machine, with each force playing a distinct role in the great game of civilizations.
In Solar Nations 2, you are the master of your nation's destiny. Everything which happens within your borders is something you preside over - there is no need to rely on AI help. Each mechanic is simple enough to understand while also offering strategic depth to ensure there is a wide variation of choices, where there isn't always a best solution.
Create alternate histories, future scenarios, custom nations, borders, flags, populations, and political setups with the built-in scenario editor. Share your creations through Steam Workshop, download community scenarios, and reshape the Solar System alone or with friends.

good game, but it's weird that it asks for super user on windows every time, like why would a game need that? very suspicious, though you can just deny access and it works, if your gpu is working too much there's a setting to lower rendering, very nice went from 76C to 66C
While I had fun in my first playthrought, I can't sadly recommend the game in this current state. I hope we are in the first beta iterations for SN2 because it has a great potential and it will pain me to see the game released as such. Imo, the most infuriating elements are: - the UI and its responsiveness, sometimes echap will close a panel, sometimes not, upgrading infra in a colonized region is a chore, sometimes there is a confirm pop-up, sometimes not... - the AI, most of the countries just sit and do nothing all game. I'd rather see 50 active countries than 150 with 100 doing nothing - the lack of pop-up. Well, it's frustrating to discover too late that a huge war started or that a country colonized a region you wanted - performance, can the game use my RAM and CPU ? It feels like the game is currently only playable for 300 years before starting to slow down heavily. I have less performance troubles on VIC3 or EU5 Elements that need a polished version: - alignment, aside relationship is under-used - more events, more dynamic crises. The game feels empty currently. The polycrisis was a fun start and I had the hope there will be more in the future. I stand corrected Elements I totally disagree with, but it's mostly personal opinion: - culture assimilation and unity while being a cool concept on paper is relatively dumb ig. You have to either not conquer any other territory or playing like a genocidal maniac to unlock culture related technologies. There are only 2 slots for accepted culture with no progression ig - lack of customization. My all 5 playthroughs felt the same. No specific mechanic for alignment for instance kills the replayability. I understand I need to play modded scenarii but there are none to my taste currently - culture in general. I like the idea of culture split in space. But how can cultures on earth stay the same for 400 years ? Can we have dynamic culture spliting/fusing ? - culture traits. Was fun on the first 2 playthroughs. Under-used currently and culture power is mostly useless after 2200s - politic is really boring. No special laws, no incentive to change some laws I really hope some elements will be issued before the game leave early access. I will change my recommendation if so

I love this game. It shows alot of potential, and i love the replayable aspects of the game. I do have a few hours in the game now, so i wanted to make some things clear about the game. The game is set in the modern to future time setting and has some very interesting ingame goals that you can pretty easily do. As with most grand stratagy games like these, it is hard to get into but when you get it, it's pretty easy to snowball. Top best things about the game: I love that you can start as any nation, even fictive nations. And it's suppose to be able to have mods, so i look farward to trying them in the future (Waiting for more mods to appear). I like the games economics and the resource manigment in the game, and how the resources can be used on units in different ways. On the units, i like that you can customize the units and make unit templates, it brings more personality to the warfare, and allows you to make better armys than the ai even if they are stronger than you. Bad things though: I don't love the UI, as it is very klanky. The Lists for leaders, millitary, colonys, spynetworks and planets are not suppose to be in the same list, it just makes you have to scroll for way too long just to get to the bottom, and find a millitary unit or a small planet that you are colonising. Maybe if they were in a seperate tab? The icons for units on the map is REALLY glitchy, sometimes it shows the units in places they are not, and sometimes it selects units you are not clicking on. This NEEDS improvement. Resently i was sending a space fleet to defend Ceres, and i made sure to only select the one fleet, but the game somehow counted the other land military units that i had, that where on another planet and conquering there. It then moved those with the fleet, and i could not see where they were and when they landed on Ceres, of course it was too late. They were in a battle, and i could not move them from it. If anyone is willing to shed some more light on the problems i have had, then feel free to. I think the game is going very well, and i wish to see it develep well into the future. And a thank you to the develeper for being so dilligent as to make a game like this, i love that a small dev like you are willing to develep on such a huge project.
This game has incredible potential depending on where the developer takes it. Much of that potential is already realized because the early access version is very playable. I'd like to see some simple user interface improvements, a glossary/dictionary of terms, and loads of random events to thwart the best of plans (because this is a game about planning). Also, native Mac support, please! (works fine on a Mac via Crossover, though)
Awesome game. I look forward to future updates!
A shockingly good grand strategy game with a very intriguing premise and a surprisingly engaging gameplay loop that gets you hooked very quickly
While playing I found myself thinking that this game is unique in a way to "role play" a nation. It is kind of like some of the more unhinged Hoi IV mods, but you are building the unhingedness of your nation! 10/10 would build a robot hating, bioengineered baby having society that still gets sucked to their doom by a never ending need for more AI-Datacenters again!
Like a mix between Terra Invicta, HoI4, and Stellaris. A bit rough around the edges, but has _incredible_ depth for a solo dev.
Ersteindruck: Grandios
100h Spielzeit. Last but not least: Auch Atomkriege sind möglich, so kann das Spiel vorzeitig enden (Biosphäre zerstört).
