Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Play as Chloe, a gifted hacker who is searching for her missing friend Rebecka while a biotech crackdown embroils the city of Abraxa. As the political climate heats up and the corporate-sponsored militia threaten lives in unusually cruel ways, Chloe is faced with leveraging her relationships and friendships to help her navigate unrest, protect the communities she cares about, and heal herself in the process.

Friendship can be formed through all sorts of circumstances, whether it be through tragedy or making impactful change. Get to know this colorful, queer, and fashionable group of characters as you navigate complex societal issues and political intrigue together.
In the midst of escalating tensions, will romance bloom, or will you choose to keep the one you have gotten close to as a friend and confidant? Do you find yourself with the wholesome local boy Torrent, the experienced activist Sueli, or the old flame Alden?

Utilize the power of "social hacking" to dissect power dynamics that affect violent divisions locally and in the country. Your choices in how you dive deep into personal relationships, build rapport with storied communities, and exert your moral influence on arbitrary militarization will bring about more or less human rights in the world.
What is activism and responsible, moral truth? Whatever you choose, Chloe’s personal challenges intersect with her activism. Her hacking abilities allow her to take on another person’s identification and find encrypted data at the top of someone’s thoughts. With such abilities, what does it mean to share your truth responsibly?

A very well-written game that basically anyone nowadays should play, as it reflects a lot of the evils of current society. It goes into depth about the plight of the downtrodden and the importance of community, learning to take your victories where you can and how vital it is to work both in small ways and when/how to choose when to go big. The characters are nuanced and varied, the plot balances highs and lows, and you'll come out of with a lot to think about.

As someone who enjoys sci-fi, the cyberpunk setting initially caught my attention. It is well researched and believable, and provides a solid foundation for the story. The main character, Chloe, is an unusually compassionate protagonist. She consistently puts herself on the line for her friends, stands up for what she believes in, and approaches difficult situations with empathy and integrity. Her approach to people and difficult conversations is one of the most interesting parts of the story. The dialogue feels natural. Characters have distinct personalities and energy levels, and react to situations in believable ways. Conversations don't feel like people taking turns delivering speeches. They feel like people listening, disagreeing, encouraging each other, joking, and balancing each other out. This makes it easy to become invested in the cast. After a slightly slow start while the setting and cast are established, the story finds a good rhythm between quieter character moments, planning, and action. The public speeches are particularly effective, and the final confrontation provides a satisfying conclusion. The main theme song also deserves a mention. Its melancholic quality fits the atmosphere of the story remarkably well and makes for a memorable main menu theme. If I have one criticism, it's that outside of choosing who to romance, the player's choices don't carry as much emotional or moral weight as they could. More difficult decisions with meaningful consequences would have made the experience stronger. Solace State is a thoughtful, character-driven story with a memorable cast, believable relationships, and a distinctive cyberpunk setting. If you enjoy stories that take their characters and relationships seriously, it is well worth your time. I look forward to the next game from Vivid Foundry.
Great indie VN. Choices that actually matter. Good soundtrack. Wonderful art direction. The camera panning really adds something to the presentation. Ran great for me. Has zero crashes or problems. If you are interested in ethic based choices in a cyberpunk setting, this will fit your needs.
I had been looking forward to this game.. Then,, low and behold it spoils the imagination by,, "EX BOYFRIEND" syndrome. Then, Her best mate wants her "TO MEET WITH HIM" Him being a "Friend" would have been fine But No. I had enjoyed it until then,, your gonna get all that Bollocks Blah Blah trying to find a way Out of that crap. I am sure some will love that bollocks.. good for them, but not for me. After the Comments From The Devs,, I Will give it another try.. I will then decide on If it gets changed to an Up Vote
